In case you all have not noticed yet, here's a public music service announcement:

The 70ies in Rock are back now.

(Plus, as a side notice: Lord of The Rings' male Elves play drums nowadays).

Just finished listening to this double live album on vinyl.
The master of the guitar talk box. Fantastic atmo when after 4 minutes the keyboard and guitar soloing parts start (with the talk box).

Whoa - that was a trip back - laying on the floor of my childhood bedroom with headphones on and listening to Jefferson Airplane. I think my parents bought me headphones out of self-preservation - lol.

I've got most of my albums from that time. Once, some younger friends were helping me pack and came across them. As they flipped through, they looked up at me with a new understanding of who I am. - lol, it was a so funny.

Steve Miller was a local boy who really made good.

I love watching "old" live performances and this is my recent favorite. I love that it has over 24 million views...gives me hope for humanity! :p

I love how with all the profanity and cursing this song has a beautiful message actually.

By the way, I consider "Throwing Copper" one of the best 90ies albums as well as one of the best in 'alternative rock' til today.

I don't know if anybody has listened to her, but I love Sandy Denny. She has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. Always calms me.
