From CE about Canada now:

This is also from CE about Trump (and btw also Qanon...) being on the wrong side of history with this one. A 'safer version' of 5G is being given as an argument by some, but it is a scam, there is no evidence of that:

It pre-dates Trump. By far. This was in the pipeline and being ushed on people before he took office. Whoever (telecom companies) put the 'fix' in and bought off the right people (in political positions) did it before Trump was even on the campaign trail.

Of course it was long planned, like many bad things (just consider the Middle East wars as another example). But why is he pushing it himself? He could at least let it go if he is not allowed to resist it. His stance on vaccines is (or was) much better and informed. Some suspect that is due to his son Barron who is purportedly damaged by it and maybe even Aspergers/Autist.

And now this. Seems Trump completely sold out to the fascist pharma Deep State on all fronts:
  • 5G
  • Vaccinations
  • GMO
While Trump expressed skepticism during the 2016 presidential debates about the safety of multiple vaccines administered to infants and children, he flipped during the recent measles scare, urging Americans to “get the shot.”
President Trump just ordered the federal government to turn American into a massive GMO experiment where anything goes.
So even Mike Adams seems to slowly wake up (he normally was or still is a staunch Trump follower) and see him as the fraud he is.

Seems it's about time to wake up for the US citizens who voted him into office. I think he betrayed all of them. He might still be good for a few other things but certainly he is NOT a health president.

Not saying it is much better in my country regarding these topics, but at least we still are relatively GMO-free, have fewer mandatory child vaccinations and it seems in Europe 5G is (still) more under scrutiny by the authorities, at least a bit. But that all might change soon if we do not resist this medical fascism rising world-wide. Trump surely does not, he is in it completely. I have my doubts about Merkel + Co., too.

I would guess that the Deep State is applying extreme pressure, either he complies or he's out.

I understand this interpretation. That is the more sympathetic theory towards him. I also thought he might be forced or maybe play some multidimensional chess with playing 'both sides' and still doing the right turn in the end, but I do not believe this anymore. When will the right turn come? Six years to go. Most things got worse, not better. Swamp has been replaced with swamp (Evans, Pompeo, Bolton, etc.). The Neocons ruled by the Deep State rule, war is looming on all fronts, in the world and also on the health front as we speak in this thread about.

Maybe it is better to face the obvious? I mean, look, he's a rich businessman after all. He's always been 'one of them' (elites, 1%, globalists, cabal, best friend with the Clintons for years, etc.. - and still seems to be). All these theories about dismantling the Deep State... Nah. I really now think people have been misled.

I see it like Mr Icke.

Regardless of Trump and general grumbles about whether he is genuine or not, 5G is far more dangerous.

A bit in liasion

It seems they are weakening the existing antenas so to make it more atractif. Why this thought? A moment in time i managed to watch a whole 20 minute video during train travel, now i can only half as the signal is at best 3g for the begining of the travel

Good observation and one you might share with others around you. They might not make the correlation.

Seems to be standard tech company move - people with older iPhones start having trouble when the new ones come out. I recall my Dad explaining the concept of planned obsolesce to me. We ran into this when we replaced our washing machine. The older one could have been fixed, but the parts were so expensive (and labor, too) that it made fiscal sense to get a new one. My Dad was talking about this problem 40 years ago. He was talking about many of the issues we are facing now way back then.

Yes, it is very tough in this world to be a 'slow adopter'. I know, since that is my preference. Things just can't function after a short time.

I do try to request and make a case for items that last and 'put my money where my mouth is' as a consumer since I have seen how buying what one believes in changes what's offered on market shelves.

Sometimes it feels lonely doing so. Other times I meet a 'kindred soul'. Those are special moments:-D

I recently told a chat-bot at a stationery/computer software supplier, that I had every right to want to own the actual software disc and have the product code with it, in hard format, not just be sold the rights to access the "Cloud". Of course, my purchase did not go any further than that! But if they have web-bots searching the chat rooms as we know they have, then somebody will know I didn't take it lying down!

In America this is called "Planned Obsolescence" Meaning things are designed to be made obsolete. Its one of the downside to Capitalism which didn't begin until the 1950's when two brothers figured out that making items that lasted forever wasn't 'good business'. It wasn't long until "Maytag reliability its self was made obsolete. Now days part of Quality control and product testing is to make sure certain circuits fail after x-amount of ours, certain seals fail, nuts and bolts fail and so on. Every industry has components in their items literally designed to fail to force their customer to buy a new one. 50 years ago you could buy the failed part or take it to a repairman. Now this is a vanishing trade as the whole industry is designed to make a person buy a brand new 'gadget'.

Which of course plays heavily into our rapidly filling landfills. Which itself is an interesting conversation. So while the Erstwhile Left is busy pointing fingers at people for not recycling, no one is talking about corporations and manufacturers using up the earth resources with their greedy 'designed obsolesce' schemes and making we the consumers fill the land fills up with their crap-tacular products.

Great questions and one's I don't have answers too.
In my life there's been a number of presidents who wanted badly to do certain things only to change their mind (seemingly) when they got in office. I know a few have written books basically saying in the book that someone whispered in their ear when the new president was trying to make some changes "Remember Kennedy". Meaning, you don't run this country, and if you try you will be killed just as Kennedy was.
We all know at this point given the sheer level of evidence that it was no lone gunman who killed Kennedy. There were multiple gunmen and it was coordinated by some branch of the government whom we don't know who is. *cough Cough* CIA *cough*
It maybe the best thing we can do for any President is pray pray pray for them and send them good energy. I don't think any of them really know what they are getting involved with when they try and make positive changes as a sitting president.

Planned obsolescense started with light bulbs in the 1920's :-

Enter the Phoebus cartel. Established in the 1920s, light bulb manufacturers like Philips, General Electric, Osram and others across the globe decided to collude in the light bulb market. As technological advances improved and pushed out the life span of incandescent bulbs, sales volumes would be negatively impacted. Fewer, infrequently burnt out bulbs meant less need for replacements – less demand for their products. While price fixing was a natural result of cooperation in an imperfectly competitive market, the Phoebus cartel strived to do more than hike prices. They went beyond limiting product innovation – over the gradual course of a few years, manufacturers actively lower the life span of light bulbs. The industry standard of 2,500 hours in 1924 would eventually drop to 1,000 hours by 1940. Light bulbs were deliberately made more fragile, and competitors would be closely monitored (and if necessary, fined) to ensure strict adherence to product degradation. The Phoebus cartel would eventually dissolve due to increased external competition and the disruptions of World War II, but it had successfully demonstrated a very important point. Stifling innovation and product quality was a feasible means of sustaining consistent consumption and profits.

Yes, you are right, let's hope and pray for him to become wise(r) again and/or (re)gain the power to avoid the greatest of disasters. I just made a thread on the looming Iran war which is another issue in connection with this (see there).

Perhaps the 5g is the intermediate over a real short amount of time to have then the needed technologie without harm but i doubt on it beeing so

Found this morning:
The Telecom Act of 1996 prohibits local governments from using health or safety concerns as a reason to block cellphone deployment.
Two people talk on cellphones while walking along a city street.

Experts say more research is needed to understand whether there is a health risk associated with cellphone use.
Sergei Malgavko

Foster said that so long as equipment makers comply with the FCC's safety standards, the agency can't stop deployment of 5G. And he argued there's a good reason for that.
"The regulatory system requires manufacturers of RF-emitting equipment verify compliance with FCC safety limits, not directly conduct toxicity studies," he said. "If this were done consistently for all newly introduced devices, it would basically stop any new RF products."
