I typed into google. Pictures of Scottish castles and chose medieval ones. Some nice pics in there, some quite wide. Most would be too much castle and not enough vista I feel, but I saw a couple I liked, unfortunately I don't know how to transfer them to the RT. Still you might want to have a look. Laron.

What I am trying now is searching on deviant art for anything that may be appropriate using these instructions here: http://creative-commons.deviantart.com/journal/A-way-to-search-for-Creative-Commons-art-in-DA-314892577 as Deviant Art doesn't include a licence based search option so you have to use google search.
I also just contacted an artist to ask permission to use one of her images, but they are all copyright.

I like the green one, the vista seems to convey infinite opportunities to soar just like the bird heading towards the distant mountains.
The green one looks like a place of well being which one can reach with just a little effort - i.e. walking over the footbridge!

I don't know if the Unicorns would be suitable for the banner but I like them, they have such a magical quality and the sun peeping over the horizon promises a new day full of hope and joy and opportunities for personal growth. I'm drawn to the illustrations that look like a place where many people could gather. I like the green one with a castle and a bridge.

Just to let you all know, I am waiting to again hear back from the artist of the last images I posted. We may go with the middle image if I can confirm a few things from her as I had some questions I needed cleared up. We can't really use that green one I posted previously (with the bridge/castle) as the width of it is too short so I would have to enlarge it and that takes away the quality.

Well, drat. Someone built a home nearby that looks just like a castle with turrets, but no drawbridge. Maybe I'll take a picture of it - just kidding. BTW, if it comes up for sale, I'll let you all know, in case someone wants to buy a Texas castle.

Just to let you all know that the artist I was going to pick and get a licence to use her work from hasn't got back to me in a long while now, even after we discussed the costs and a few things, so because she is taking so long I am going to look for another option for the forum and may post some more images on here as a result! (I might create a new thread for this purpose)
