I look through the window. One of the beautiful storms the Earth is famous for rages outside. It is both majestic and sad. But there is another reason for the negative feeling inside me. Something is wrong.
My assistant contacts me telepathically. “Ambassador, grave news has reached us. Your home world was attacked by reptilian forces.”
