And Happy Full Moon Cancerians too, as our glorious Star, the Sun is currently shining light on all born under this sign.
The exact time of this lunation will be just before midnight in NZ on the 3rd July. It is at 11 18 Capricorn.
This Full Moon in Capricorn is always one that can bring a lot to the surface in family dynamics, even generational, but all about healing that involves ones own personal authority and anything that triggers the “not Ok “ parental factors as well as the “not ok child”, so challenges can occur from other authorities such as Gov rules and regulations or others we think of as some sort of “authority” that has power over us.
This one is two days from a Perigee Moon so is almost a "Super Moon" as the modern term has become. This means that the Full Moon which is usually over by the day after could have an extended effect until Wednesday or so.
There can even be a generational healing influence on a powerful Capricorn Moon. The approach to this Full Moon often brings misunderstandings and fears, insecurity issues to the surface, causing a ripple effect within a family unit as old trauma surfaces with triggers running rampant, but its all for the experience and growth of our individual higher selves as that aspect of self prepares to merge more with the God head which is the journey we are all on.
There can be feelings of loss triggered by actual events also near this Full Moon moreso than some, but the Moon helps us move towards owning the authority of self in a healthy way so we are not giving away power to others, but rather allowing self to rise above the “who is right or wrong “ aspect that often accompanies such volatile times of Capricorn energies, the feeling we have to live up to certain standards also can come into this bringing a certain rebellion especially with todays Venus/Uranus square.
Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn rules karma. He is well known for that known fact so theres a bit of that around too although technically we are now moving away from karma as Earths energies begin to rise. Dolores Cannon so famously has written about this in her “convoluted Universe “series.. We are shaking off the sticky mud of karma that our very existence here has been based around but now its based on special souls coming to this planet from other realms to help with the new growth needed.
Its no longer only through pain and suffering that we grow.
But tell that to this Moon as the Full Moons are very good at revealing what is hidden so we can stare it in the eye before healing begins and we allow ourselves to work through any pain and celebrate our own creative “beingness”. even thank the Moon, Planets and Stars for our guidance to navigate through that remaining mire of karma that is still here to burn out of our existence as human beings walking this Earth.
Capricorns and Capricorn types like me with my Asc are well aware of what their particular growth is about as the Moon effect has been here for almost a week now.
With this Moons passing we will all have some sort of profound turning point in the areas of our life patterns that carry these signs and we all can work with that in the days, weeks and months to come with new strength and understanding,
We cannot forget that Venus (Leo) square Uranus (Taurus) aspect today that could bring the unexpected with emotional lightbulb moments where, as much as we would like to maintain control of self and surroundings, things could be taken way out of our hands with a great distraction we didn’t expect at all, either through a person or event.
Taureans, Aquarians, Leos, Librans could feel this in fact and especially anyone with planets or points around 21 degrees Leo or Taurus.
In many ways this Full Moon today is one of great transformation and it will be interesting to see the effect globally.
The larger than usual EQs are also under way ( a 6 9 in Tonga) and no doubt there will be more natural events around the globe powered by the close Moon as well as Government crises, another Capricorn factor…
