So Happy Full Moon SCORPIOS!
And Happy Full Moon to Taureans as it has a major influence on your lives as well! And those with Scorpio or Taurus ascending.
This one has been in effect a few days as everyone is feeling a little intense (or most of us) and finding things are more cathartic than usual. It is after all a rebirth Full Moon.
Health issues are also arising as they do especially under this moon, as we all hold so much back if we have a strong Scorpio effect in our birth charts or Pluto near our Sun or on an angle. So these energies come out as aches and pains or other more obscure health issues mental or physical.
Pluto just changed direction a week or so back which we also felt strongly as a turning point, so Scorpios have had two such turning points within ten days, both times to release what has been held back, let go of pent up stuff they have been hanging onto.
It can affect all or any of us in fact.
This Moon tends to bring out the blame and pent up stuff we have been hanging onto, the fears and anxieties and even panic attacks, as old or even recent PTSD goes very deep.
This is a the Full Moon when we can do the real shadow work , and best to do this before tomorrow to totally full to get the benefit and feel the relief – release.
However it is also a Full Moon to celebrate our healed traumas and let them fully go, to recognise old abandonment triggers and observe them when they happen, and then to be born again renewed, so in the future we are more able to handle these times of reminders with anything that has been so deeply ingrained in us we think it is normal.
Its almost as if we call back those old demons during the build up to this one - as they protected us when nothing or no one else would, so blaming others for our pain is a normal thing to do or projecting our wounds onto others.
This is also a passionate Full Moon full of strong resolve and intensity of purpose when we allow ourselves to actually feel this sense of purpose above the negativity that first has to be let go of.
Mercury has now moved into Taurus for two weeks, just enough time to become more grounded which is how this sign should effect us, after the Arian effect of urgency and rushing.
Taureans will enjoy the chance to do some extra mental work in the two weeks ahead and Geminis types can calm their minds a little before Mercury enters their sign for the same amount of time when they will find themselves multitasking more than usual.
Virgos will experience the same effect as will most of us to some degree.
I just realised Mercury enters Gemini at the same time as Saturn moves to Aries so that is pretty full on for not just the signs mentioned but also Capricorns and Arians at that time.
Although Saturn will bring structure as well to the effects.
The Full Moon tomorrow is 22 degrees 12 and on the 13th early morning in Aust and 4 56 am exact in NZ, 12th in many other countries.
Mercury will square Pluto which adds to the mental intensity and depth of this Full Moon effect. Lots of deep pondering and contemplation happening, but for some it could carry an obsessive quality and exacerbate other Scorpio energies.
If we have a positive connection between Mercury and Pluto in our birthcharts it should be helpful for digging deep for answers we need.
This Moon is an Apogee – far from the Earth Moon but it can still bring extreme weather and larger than usual EQS around the Full Moon Period.
This Moon mainly on the approach can take us deeper into our own personal underworld to find answers before we emerge back into the light, This of course will be strongest for Scorpio and Taureans and acts like a turning point for their personal direction and relationships. Many would have felt this in the last week. I know I did and certainly today I am.
The health axis is the nether regions of our body – the base chakra areas. Its elimination and release(our plumbing) which is very much a Scorpio thing. Mentally and emotionally its about digging deep which is why psychologists or psychiatrists are ruled by this sign.
After this Moon we can prepare ourselves for May's major event which is Saturn finally moving out of Pisces and into Aries on the 25th of the month.
People remind me it will not be fully out of Pisces as he moves back in Sept and then returns to Aries in February 2026, but he would have still created his place in Aries so the effect remains.
Some folk will have a repeat conjunction with their Sun if born after the 16th March or from 25 degrees but this year we have experienced the fire of Aries via our ruler Neptune which has strengthened we fish so we are fortified by that energy.
During the time between the Full Moon today and 25th May, on the 17th /18th there is major aspect of Sun conjunct Uranus so that is a period of unexpected global events (another one)! So yet another shock coming then which is bound to include the economy. but it could on the other hand be something out of this world instead!
One can only hope!
The same day Mercury will square Mars, Taurus to Leo so Im thinking this could be a major conflict happening perhaps we did not expect.
So this month is action packed with strong aspects and planetary changes with this Full Moon bringing out what is still hidden.
We will experience this globally no doubt and already there are new wars and old wars featuring strongly as I write this. I do know
Saturn in Aries is going to take control of a lot of this, bringing the structure that Neptune needs in Aries to help with proceedings.
The fact we have a new Pope is an added feature of these times, also most interesting on the world scene, now we have(or soon will) two outer planets in Aries, as this Pope has very strong planets, a strong Mars, so whether he is a leader who can help provide some of the structure is still to be seen.
With the Pope for those interested I do think it is VERY possible he has a Leo Moon which would put his birth time before 9 am but no doubt we will hear more of this soon.
It would line his Moon with T r u m ps Ascending sign and Mars if so to add to the intrigue.
