For a while now I've been having some evolving thoughts about soul contracts. As a regression therapist I have never heard a client in deep hypnosis speak using the word contracts. They may say 'we agreed to do this'. Contracts imply a complete and absolute obligation, yet still an agreement with others is not absolute as we have choices that will either enable us to follow through on them or not.
Paradoxically if the therapist/facilitator says 'do you have any contracts that it is appropriate to break or destroy now', sure enough the hypnotised client often says 'yes' and describes them being destroyed.
A contract would fly in the face of our having free will. What do you think about contracts and free will?
Here Caroline Myss shares her beliefs on the basis for Sacred Contracts.
