To restore worn out furniture the natural way mix ¾ cup extra virgin olive oil with ¼ cup white vinegar and then apply it to your furniture with a piece of cheese cloth. This mixture will bring a dried out piece of wood back to life and is perfect for furniture that has light water damage but mostly just looks old and worn out because it’s been stored in the garage, basement, or attic for too long.

For scratches on your furniture crack open a walnut and rub the meat along any dings or scratches and they will not be as noticeable.

Linda, I moved into an older mid-century modern home. It has stained wood around the windows and doors but it's old looking wood so I tried this and the wood looks so nice now. I have a long ways to go with lots of wood but it sure beats sanding it all.
