Yesterday Lorna recently posted this thread here, asking the question about free will and the contracts we come into our life with. It was a bit of a coincidence as she mentioned this brook below, which I had been planning to bring up on the board here.

Within her book, Sacred Contracts: Awakening Your Divine Potential, medical intuitive and healer Caroline Myss talks about her findings on how when people don’t understand their purpose in life, depression, anxiety, fatigue, and eventually physical illness—in short, a spiritual malaise of epidemic proportions, can manifest.

sc.jpg

Myss’s experience of working with people led her to develop an insightful and ingenious process for deciphering your own Sacred Contract—or higher purpose—using a new theory of archetypes that builds on the works of Jung, Plato, and many other contemporary thinkers.

In this book Myss examines the lives of the spiritual masters and prophets—Abraham, Jesus, Buddha, and Muhammad—whose archetypal journeys illustrate the four stages of a Sacred Contract and provide clues for discovering your own. Myss explains how you can identify your particular spiritual energies, or archetypes—the gatekeepers of your higher purpose—and use them to help you find out what you are here on earth to learn and whom you are meant to meet. Exploring your Sacred Contract will shine a light on the purpose and meaning of your life. You are meant to do certain tasks, you are meant to have certain relationships. In coming to know your archetypal companions, you also begin to see how to live your life in ways that make the best use of your personal power and lead you to fulfill your greatest—in fact, your divine—potential.

Below is the Victim Archetype, from Myss's book Sacred Contracts.

We often think of archetypes in a negative way but they are just filters to fine tune our primary focus, and like all energy, are neutral and can be utilised both positively or negatively.

Here is Jungs versions of the 12 common archetypes

Here are all the ones I got above 70%
I call that ringing both sides of the bell. ;)

However, when I look at my higher scores (70% and above is a passing grade, right?), then I get an interesting mix, too.
magician, sage, creator - with a touch of joker = watch out lol

The Creator 85%
The Joker 80%
The Magician 100%
The Ruler 80%
The Sage 100%
The Seeker 75%
The Warrior 70%

Here are all the ones I got above 70%

I did the test back in August 2016 (my quoted post above).

Lets see what I get now. Looks like the format is different... let me try and make something better out of the copy and paste.

The Orphan 11%
The Creator 11%
The Ruler 11%
The Magician 8%
The Destroyer 8%
The Lover 8%
The Joker 8%
The Warrior 8%
The Caregiver 8%
The Seeker 8%
The Sage 3%

The Orphan, Creator and Ruler came out on top, where last time the Magician and Seeker were paramount.

2 years ago my top 3 archtypes were the Caregiver, magician, and the seeker.

Seems like time may change some things, but others will remain the same.

This time I did the test I got the Seeker and no other results with percentages.

"The Seeker leaves the known to discover and explore the unknown. This inner-rugged individual braves loneliness and isolation to seek out new paths. Often oppositional, this iconoclastic archetype helps us discover our uniqueness, our perspectives and our callings. Seekers are looking for something that will improve their life in some way, but in doing so they may not realize that they have a lot already inside of themselves. They embrace learning and are ambitious, and often tend to avoid the encumbrance of support from others. Needing to "do it themselves," they keep moving until they find their goal (and usually their true self too).
Shadow Side: The perfectionist. This will manifest itself in your life as the tendency to always strive to measure up to an impossible goal or to find the “right” solution. We see this shadow element in people whose main life activity is self-improvement: going from health club to health club, traveling the world, bouncing back and forth through self-improvement seminars and workshops, etc. If this sounds like you, you might wind up feeling as though you haven't really accomplished anything through a lack of commitment.
Life Goal: Search for a better way (better life)
Fear: Conformity, entrapment
Response to Problem: Leave it, escape it, take off
Life Task: Be true to a Higher Self
Personal Gifts: Autonomy, ambition, identity, expanded possibilities
Personal Pitfalls: Inability to commit, chronic disappointment, alienation and loneliness"
