THE BLUE MOON APPROACHING
This is the 2nd part of my last astrology post as there has been so much happening the article would have been far too long.
In two days time the 2nd Full Moon of the 28 day Blue moon period will happen, just after midnight in NZ on the 23rd and on the 22nd late night in a lot of Australia, earlier on the 22nd in most of the world. It will fall at 29 37 so is only just within that 30 degree mark of Aquarius.
A blue Moon is two Full Moons within one astrological sign in 28 days. Over the years I have seen amazing things happen in a Blue Moon month which can happen near either of the Full Moons or near the New Moon (it was the 8th August in this case), as the lunations are triggers for existing aspects .
As this one happens in Aquarius and the ruler of Aquarius was the planet that stationed yesterday, we can also add to the mix of events happening in the world at this time, some of caourse definitely not positive.
But traditionally the “once in a blue moon” saying is about something very unusual and special and is to be seen in a positive light.
The aspect of Saturn and Uranus however that I wrote about yesterday could put a damper on a lot of the positives, but still bring a lot to a head as has happened so far this month, but for those with positive transits it would also bring something special to many people, especially Aquarians and Leos who need all the help they can get this year with Saturn in and opposite to their signs, as they are having to be resilient and strong in every way.
These are the signs , especially Leo that know how to enjoy their lives and the people in them, their surroundings and all that is beautiful in life, and Aquarians need their freedom and independence to be at their best and do not like to be stood over by authorities although will accept it if its for the good of the whole.
As with any Full Moon, it has an effect up to a week before hand especially one like this, so this Full Moon has been in effect for some time with its exaggerated feelings, human errors, extreme reactions and health issues too.
Accidents are more likely to happen near a Full Moon due to peoples feelings getting out of control. Health symptoms also can be worse due to the fluid content increasing in the body and inflamation more likely.
But on the bright side a Full Moon will get things out into the open so healing can take place, also spirit is close to tune into.
These Full Moons are a good time to have workshops for teaching or healing, or celebrations where feelings need to come out.
If you are Leo or Aquarius or have these signs strong in your life pattern you will find this is a turning point in areas ruled by these signs.
Wherever we have these signs in our solar or natal charts – this is where we can all feel the same dilemmas or crisis points.
The influence of Leo is that of being up close and personal and being appreciated and admired, doing things for self or those the closest to us. Its all about intimate and personal relating and one on one interaction.
Aquarius is more about the group or a cause or where other peoples needs are involved in a humanitarian way. Aquarius energy can be more objective and even hold others at arms length but if there is a humanitarian issue involved then they will throw their all into it.
So matters could crop up about whether to keep things to ourselves and stick with those close to us , perhaps at home, taking care of each other, doing things we enjoy and love, or whether to spend time in the outer world with a group doing something that is not so personal but helpful for others.
Very soon after the Full Moon the Sun will move into Virgo in two days to shine its light on all those born under this signs rays so it will be the Virgos of the world that come into the spotlight with all their special qualities coming out to make the best use of in the month ahead, which includes their analytical abilities, their need to provide a service for others usually through their interest in health and wellbeing. These people can deal with details and data like no others and have the most quick and clever even quirky minds. They love nature and animals, and many have a special affection for trees or other aspects of horticulture.
Many are interested in science as they like facts and figures and most have a specialised skill they can use whether creative or in the more practical areas of life.
The week just gone and the week ahead are full of changing energies so we will all be adjusting and fine tuning self for whatever comes next in the true Virgo fashion in the days ahead.
