"Shine Your Soul!" Clarissa Pinkola Estes (1 Viewer)

I just read this AWESOME, encouraging piece by Clarissa Pinkola Estes and just had to share! Clarissa has an incredible way with words and her post reads more like poetry than it does anything else. I absolutely LOVED this part:

One of the most calming and powerful actions you can do to intervene in a stormy world is to stand up and show your soul. Soul on deck shines like gold in dark times. The light of the soul throws sparks, can send up flares, builds signal fires, causes proper matters to catch fire. To display the lantern of soul in shadowy times like these – to be fierce and to show mercy toward others; both are acts of immense bravery and greatest necessity.

It reminded me of that scene in the Lord of The Rings where they're lighting the signal fires (someone already posted that clip, but I can't find it. The clip is here). If you're feeling at all out of sorts in this crazy, topsy-turvy world of ours, I highly recommend you read his post! I can almost guarantee you'll be feeling quite a bit better about yourself and your purpose for being here at this particular time:
