This was a great good-news story I happened across - about a young, energetic engineer who is dynamically changing the status quo in his own home state in India of Uttar Pradesh (known as UP).

He decided to make a difference by acting locally, because he noticed the difference in the quality and amount of groundwater available in his city (which was once graced with over 200 lakes - obviously a wetland area, that Gautama Buddha once roamed).
