For those who enjoy learning about what was possible and what existed in cycling eras of time, in this case Ice Age approximately 25,000 years ago, here is an article presented in the Smithsonian Magazine about a Mammoth-bone Building, sited at Kostenki, south of Moscow in modern Russia.

You are perhaps familiar with images from the movie 10000 BC where mammoth bones are used to form an archway into the skin dwellings of the nomadic tribes. This article explains that a large circular site made of the bones of 60 woolly mammoths was created by humans, and possibly was not a dwelling place but had some other significance, possibly drying of meat/storage of mammoth meat/use of fire inside the structure for light and warmth. Moving the carcass of one woolly mammoth from the site of the kill would have been a huge undertaking. This site filled with mammoth bones leaves food for thought.
