It can be of great help for people with disabilities. To be able to walk again with bionic legs for example.
But can also be misused as all tech.

the thing is, making these technologies available to people with disabilities, which is in itself great i think, has nothing to do with "upgrading" anything. so nope, putting discussions about bionic "bodies" and "upgrades" into the same picture/sentence with discussions about making things possible for people who have suffered something and actually want a more advanced crutch to experience life better, is in my opinion a no-go. those are two separate discussions to be made. nope, i am not "ready for upgrading" as theres nothing wrong with me that i would want "fixed", and nope i dont think these two topics belong together really.

A big no to designer bodies, but for people with injuries, it is transformational.
