This is a thread for us to share any discussions and information around the protests occurring in Hong Kong at the moment. Richard Enos just posted an article over on Collective Evolution here, that is extremely helpful for us to understand why they occurring, and what is going on with the political situation with the Government and external influences.

Hong Kong is situated above Australia, beneath China and to the north east of Thailand and Vietnam.

The protests in Hong Kong are basically about an Extradition Bill which threatens the freedom of of the people. It's got to a stage where the Airport in Hong Kong had to be shut down. The Chinese army is massing at the border to the region — they are close to intervening; pictures of this are going viral on social media.

hong kong protests august 2019.png
Flag of Hong Kong

Note that some people, including public figures and celebrities, don't realise that Hong Kong is not its own country, or state, but an administrative region of China. It's also interesting to know that Hong Kong became a colony of the British Empire at the end of the First Opium War in 1842, and then Sovereignty was transferred over to China in 1997.

Hong Kong is the most densely populated place in the world — this means people live in close vicinity.

In the present age, the region was once a sparsely populated area of fishing villages and farms. It's now one of the world's most important financial centres and commercial ports in the world. Its classified as an alpha+ world city; this indicates its influence throughout the world.

I came across a very educational video and post over on imgur, written by SavingHongKong. I've included it below, indented.

"This is happened on last Saturday while the protesters occupied the road in Tsim Sha Tsui & the riot police fired a number of tear gas into the crowd. A young man threw it to the police station next to them.
During the last 2 month protests, more than 735 protesters were arrested & severely injured. They would be sentenced for 10 years in jail. In the case of the police violently beat up the protesters, pro-china gangs attack people on the streets , no one (or very few) were arrested & accused. Until now, only 27 x pro-china gangs was arrested and accused for illegal assembly only (21 July, 2019) Details about 21 July, 2019: https://imgur.com/gallery/2qpSuEq
Currently the only authority to arrest people is police and no authority has the power to arrest police except themselves. That's the reason why they could violently & illegally attack protesters without any consequence. With the cooperation of Department of Justice, they can arrest & charge the protesters without sufficient evidence in 2 working days. Ironically, their monthly wages will be increased few months after.
Hong Kong people have no real power to change the current situation and are in the desperate moment. What you can do to save Hong Kong?
1, Share it to your network & your country's political leaders. Sharing is saving Hong Kong.
Please share with the tag #standwithhk #savehk #antiELAB
2, Sign the petition about Chinese police impersonating Hong Kong police officers in anti-extradition bill protest (To White House, please sign if you agree this could bring better future to HK)
https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/chinese-police-impersonating-hong-kong-police-officers-anti-extradition-bill-protest
3, Sign the petition about Official Recognition of the Chinese Communist Party as a Terrorist Organization (To White House, please sign if you agree this could bring better future to HK)
4, Sign the petition about sanction to key officials of Hong Kong government & police force (To Canada Parliament, please sign if you agree this could bring better future to HK)
5, Sign the petition about Sanction Hong Kong government for its State Terrorism activity conducted in Yuen Long on 21 July (To White House, please sign if you agree this could bring better future to HK)
Details about Pro-China gangs attack at Yuen Long on 21 July, 2019: https://imgur.com/gallery/2qpSuEq
6, Sign the petition to sanction Hong Kong government for its State Terrorism activity (To White House, please sign if you agree this could bring better future to HK)
7, Sign the petition about British National (Overseas) Citizens should be given full British Citizenship. (Most Hong Kong people are BNO holder but currently is not allowed to work and live permanently on UK) (To UK Parliament, please sign if you agree this could bring better future to HK)
8, Sign the petition about sending military force to Hong Kong (To White House, please sign if you agree this could bring better future to HK)
9, Send email to International Criminal Court to Request for investigation and prosecution of the HONG KONG POLICE FORCE & government.
10, Sign the petition about the rejection of Hong Kong Police Chief - Andy Tsang's nomination to United Nations positions. (To White House, please sign if you agree this could bring better future to HK)
11, Sign the petition to Request International Court of Justice to Investigate Excessive Force of Hong Kong Police (Please sign if you agree this could bring better future to HK)
Now Hong Kong is the victims of pro-china, next year will be Tai Wan. Few years after will be your country. Please stand before the beast grows.
Please save Hong Kong."

And again, please feel free to share any discussions on the situation below, including links.

Note that this board I've posted the thread on, is the In the News board (it currently has no moderator). Feel free to share anything on this board relating to stories and events occurring in the world which are reported on, either in main stream or alternative media including blogs.

While I am certain the Chinese regime is doing evil a lot and I would never want to live in this country under these conditions and hope the best for the Hongkong population to free themselves, the fact that this article (did you write this really, Laron?) appeals to the famous "US leaders" for a solution (see #1) is raising my eyebrows not just a little, honestly.

Appealing to someone like Hillary Clinton to save peace and democracy somewhere else in the world ... seriously?

C'mon. :fp

This I read on RT from an interview with Ron Paul and it also explains more my reaction. Certainly RT also has its spin on it but there is some truth to that:

Solutions need come from somewhere, mostly from the people if possible, let's pray for them. But they do not come from US Deep State puppet politicians mingling again in other state's affairs (while always complaining that someone, mostly Russians, mingle in their own).

The United States has a habit of involving itself in political unrest all over the world, Ron Paul said, noting that Washington lacks the moral authority to lecture China about the unrest in Hong Kong.
The former Texas congressman and presidential candidate said that he wasn’t surprised by reports of US involvement in demonstrations that have rocked Kong Hong since March.
“No matter where there’s a revolution starting or stirring, we’re there, because we have a lot at stake,” he told Politicking host Larry King.
Paul sharply criticized statements made by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other US lawmakers warning China of consequences if the crisis in Hong Kong wasn’t settled to Washington’s liking.
He argued that using political unrest in the semi-autonomous territory to “attack” China is “foolish.”
'We in the United States don’t have the moral authority to think that we can go in and lecture and change [the situation in Hong Kong].'

Thanks for all the great action links!

I've been super busy at work for 8 weeks. How does the Extradition Bill threaten the Hong Kong people? I learned HK is more capitalistic than China and has a bit different culture than mainland China.

As I mentioned, the contents of the indented section is from SavingHongKong on imgur.

Not everyone in the world is as well informed as us (and as awake), so they are only trying to do their best to help themselves and their people, with what they know and understand. I hold no judgement over their understandings.

I pick up that there is a lot of desperate people there and they are being backed into a corner with the new bill. My post gives them a bit of support, and at the same time it brings in some new visitors looking up this topic through search engines, who will have the chance to browse RT to find other information to help them on their spiritual journey.
Solutions need come from somewhere,
And this space here would be a perfect place to get into discussions on the options people have so they can find solutions. (:

It's a critical pivot point for H.K for this battle of sovereignty. The fact these organised crime units like the Triads are essentially being used as hired muscle for croud control I find deeply disturbing.
That aswell as the suppression of unbias, independent news coverage of the events at hand.

I have no doubt the puppet masters have been pulling strings here and there escellating and manipulating these events.

My heart goes out to Hong Kong and the uphill battle that lays ahead. The odds are highly stacked against them.

Trump says he's not interested in assisting or intervening with this issue. Why then would there be war ships sitting of the coast?

From the link:
Is Hong Kong now the central theatre playing out the struggle between Eastern and Western sociopolitical ideologies?
I believe this is a DS operation again. They are just pitting one group against another.

Here we go, from the link.
Earlier this year, Chief Executive Lam pushed amendments to extradition laws that would allow people to be sent to mainland China to face charges. In some ways, this had a similar agenda to the bill introduced in 2003 that would have directly forbidden acts of treason and subversion against the Chinese government.
When a law is made with a vague definition of "acts of treason" or "subversion", like in Soviet Russia, there is a LOT of chance to abuse this law to kill political opponents or anyone deemed "troublesome". This has been the history of dictators like Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, Pol Pot, Mao from China, and others. Most dictators come to power with empty promises of socialism or communism, i.e. free stuff, and it has never worked out that way for long.

The same is also true of the Homeland Security Act in the US. Vague definitions of "terrorist" (which were totally unnecessary due already existing laws and to 8 USC 1182 regarding immigration <http://tiny.cc/8usc1182>) means anyone can be designated a terrorist for any reason. Thus the danger in this law being used for political reasons. Many examples of abuse of power can be gotten from "Black Book of Communism" (http://tiny.cc/blackbook) and specific examples from the Nazi era from "Nazi Conspiracy and Aggression" (http://tiny.cc/nazihist).

Thanks for the Collective Evolution website, I'll bookmark it! :thumbsups (That's either a thumbs up or a ghost. lol.)

From what I've gathered from available news coverage, there is a growing number of H.K riot police with one protestor claiming that China has already infiltrated H.K police.
With 12,000 Chinese military at the boarder and a minimum 2,000,000 expected to show up for a rally today/tonight. Things are about to get heated again for H.K

It seems as though the media coverage of H.K protests is becoming further and further behind the times. They would have us believe that this is a peaceful protest.
There are always going to be vigilante type groups amongst these protestors. Here's a couple of locals videos that haven't been washed. Can anyone translate the first video into English?

All above, thanks for keeping us up-to-the-minute with this important topic. I am not overly familiar with socio-political themes, but I do know that China summarily executes arrested people at times, then asks questions later. Let's say, a case goes to a court, but the court is blinkered; once labelled a "criminal" the arrested person does not have much chance. Knowing this reality, the people of HK obviously don't want to be dominated by it.

In my opinion, (which is an outsider's perspective), Chinese politicians and lawmakers want to subjugate the HK population to follow and obey their extreme laws, since they are already legally and administratively an adjunct of China mainland, and they've had that "sweet zone" where they continued with some of their freedoms for more than 20 years since Britain passed the colony back to China. Now they feel it is time to introduce the tougher, day-to-day laws which will control the population at a much deeper level. It is a great pity for those who have grown up with a certain amount of freedom of thought, speech and action to lose that.

But I see the game plan being Taiwan, and the control and subjugation of that. Taiwan itself is not yet legally annexed. There is yet to be a war fought over Taiwan. Taiwan is like a tiny, brave David in the face of a mighty Goliath. China has to show the Taiwanese what happens to freedom-loving parts of the Chinese Republic, as a good, heads-up example. "Taiwan, watch on in fear, as this blood-letting and nose-rubbing is only the first taste of what you will be up for."

From the spiritual perspective, souls with expanding consciousness can and are born anywhere in the world, including in regions with despotic and/or feudal grip of control. These areas of struggle only provide a more challenging environment for the expanding consciousness to grow and ultimately, flower. Yes, many are crushed underfoot, and that foot often wears military boots. But as individual consciousness rises to higher levels, that upgrades and expands the human collective consciousness at the same time. As there are now possibly 2 billion out of the approx. 8 billion on the planet now of such souls, the rise of collective consciousness is now more rapid.

One of the attributes of a higher consciousness is being able to tap into collective biorhythms, and collective telepathy, or intuitive sharing of information beyond the control of political measures. The wielders of domination and control fear the blossoming of these skills which are already rising, same as when water transforms to gas when heated enough. At some point, it will be impossible to suppress news or information, simply due to the higher skills available on the planet.

From the latest HighHeart Life by Denise Le Fay (dated August 19, 2019):
The Ascension Process and Age of Aquarius and Leo Sun energies mean humanity is currently evolving into being telepathic and so much more. To try to prevent or distract people from that, Team Dark keeps rolling out more powerful smart phones and other increasingly potent high-tech devices to keep humanity from becoming telepathic, and much more, and keep them believing they need phones to communicate with other people.
From Amanda Lorence's blog "Sun-Flower Energy Wave Infusion" (dated August 13, 2019)
ENERGETIC LINKING NOW BETWEEN HUMANS:
Certain human beings across and around the planet will NOW be experiencing both physically and energetically, that they are NOW energetically and consciously aware they are linking to other unknown humans on the planet. This has been written about before now. But NOW, it is actually being experienced by certain human beings. They are physically feeling an arc of energy being emitted from their bodies, that links to another unknown human being/s. It has begun, in real time.

With tensions brewing for H.K, the publicity for these types of events often get squashed and shuffled back in the algorithms. Over 1.7 million people (roughly 1/4 of h.k population) is protesting and rebelling against China's totalitarian government who have recently implimented an extradition law for convicted felons. This leaves a wide gap for interpretation as to what a felon is.
The majority of these protestors are highly educated uni students fighting for their freedom as a separatist's from China. Without going into the history of the British colony and previous opium wars, I can see both sides as to why this situation is so delicate.
Keeping it relevant to the situation at hand, it all comes down to the people and what they want right? Wrong.. we only have to look at the tragedy of Tiananmen square to understand the ever growing empire that is China. We need to understand that there is much more going on behind the scenes in this new world/one world agenda.
It's a chess game...No points for guessing who is black and who's white!

As much as an event can be squashed,, the truth always shines through!

Facts as I see them from insider locals, snippets of videos, research and my own intuition.
(Trigger warning for some of these videos)

#1 inside reports from h.k protestors witnessing(even detaining) h.k police acting as activists then violently turning on and arresting key members of vigilant groups.
(No surprise or real crime commited there...)
#2 hired muscle identified as triad members unlawfully brutally beating and moving along peaceful protestors in key locations across the city.https://youtu.be/7P8uPkAeTas

#3 when the president of the states, states he's not interested in something you better believe they are!

#4 (footage has been removed)
Local protestors claiming that the rise in h.k riot squad has quadrupled since Over taking the airport last week indicating that China has already infiltrated in what could be considered a covert operation.
I have had confirmations since beginning writing this piece that this is infact the case as well as Triad members being in affiliation with the police that my source tells me is now Chinese military wearing H.K uniforms.

*Note* h.k is one of the highest trade points in the world because of its strategic location, resources and economy.
Indicating that if China strong holds h.k investors will surely sell stocks, assets etc creating a break/boom effect in the stock market. This would surely be appealing to the American stock party's!!
If on the other hand America would somehow advocate for H.K it would solely be for their own interest in the stock market (or so I've been led to believe) I feel this would likely trigger ww3 so it is an unlikely scenario.
Below are some quotes I've attained from speaking with a H.K born and raised American citizen who has kindly interpreted and taken some time to educate me from her point of view.

"My two cents on the issue is that HK has signed extradition bills with other countries, so extradition in itself is not the problem. The problem is the way the pro-Beijing government had tried to force the bill through legislature without having a solid discussion and thorough redrafts, which caused a lot of backlash from the pro-democracy lawmakers. Another problem is the political implications of the bill, which gives China the opportunity to evade HK courts (and essentially just, impartial and fair judgment), in trying criminal suspects."

"Given china’s history of framing people and given their political corruption + inclination to arrest political prisoners, the hk people feel that they cannot trust an extradition bill with China specifically.
Also, there’s a lot of adverse feelings with how China had presented the bill, using the Taiwan murder case to colour their true intentions. HK people hate feeling like they’re treated as fools. China had proposed this bill to “bring justice to the murdered girl’s family”, but we start to question “how would an extradition treaty between HK and China lead to the extradition of the murderer to Taiwan?”

"And finally, the way the government has handled the protests means that this isn’t just about the extradition bill. It’s about the lack of a sufficient and satisfactory government response to the people’s demands, the government corruption and collusion with the triads, the political control over the police, the lack of accountability when the police are caught torturing protesters, the blatant and unapologetic misuse of dangerous firearms and crowd control weapons against the protesters etc.."

"This whole thing has escalated and transcended beyond the extradition bill, simply because the government and police force treated peaceful protesters with violence and disrespectful, all the while issuing statements condemning protesters, which further fuels their anger, violence and disrespect."

"We usually say that China has the hardware, but not the software. They have the material resources and the money to do great things, but they lack the sense of sustainable governance required to run it."

"Unfortunately, because China has perpetrated many crimes against human rights, it’s become the norm. What used to shock people, such as their treatment of Tibet and xinjiang and Taiwan, has become a normalised attribute that no one blames China for. They just take for granted that China will mistreat people, and keep on trading with China just because it’s a superpower and such cruelty has been engrained and become part of its history."

-pearl
With the extradition law in place it would mean any foreigners visiting H.K can be subject to the same chinese laws and detaining process.

Below is a video of just how tight security is becoming in China and Taiwan which is relevant to the people of H.k and one of the many reasons they wish to stay seperate.

I plan on touching on these subjects more as information comes to light. We must pray and support the people of H.K in the best ways possible.

Some more links for anyone interested in the suspicious activities from an activists view stance.
