If you’re new to meditation, or wish to explore it further, guided meditation is a good place to start. Meditation can help you in a lot of areas, such as relaxation, healing and self-discovery, to list some examples. Listening to a guided meditation recording is one of the most easy and enjoyable ways to meditate, especially in the beginning. There are plenty of meditation guides and teachers to choose from. You may prefer to stick to one, or explore and listen to a variety of teachers. I have created many guided meditations over the years; in this collection there are 10-guided meditations and positive affirmations.

Unfortunately, there is plenty of negativity in our world, focusing on something positive can be very comforting and uplifting. Positive affirmations work by affirming what you want, as if it is already yours. Repetition of the affirmations also helps to reinforce the positive state of being or thing that you desire. It’s also natural to experience some resistance to the affirmations as it targets your core beliefs system. Over time, with repeated listening or reciting of the affirmations, the way you think begins to shift and change in a more positive way.

One of the nice things about listening to a guided meditation or affirmation recording is the music. Sometimes they also include sound effects or nature sounds to enhance the listener experience. You may find as you become more experienced with meditation, you may prefer to do your own with background music or in silence. A guided meditation is simply one option and makes it easy to experience the positive benefits of meditation.

A lot of guided meditation or positive affirmations have a theme to assist you with. These are endless, but can include, helping with sleep, relaxation, self esteem, psychic protection or clearing, to list some examples. If you have a need, it is likely there is a meditation available to help you with. The Internet is a great resource for meditation and affirmations, with plenty of content available.

Feel free to listen to some of the guided meditations and positive affirmations on YouTube below. There are 10 tracks, and you can skip the tracks to find something that you like. They are also available to stream and download on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes and Amazon. Feel free to subscribe and share them with your family or friends.
