I like many people figured something would happen to prevent the public naming of the other adult participants. So, she was found guilty and could get up to 65 years; however, the judge ordered the proceedings sealed. Remember that the prosecuting attorney was James Comey's daughter. (He's the former head of the FBI that allowed questionable activities to proceed before being fired by Trump. With the records sealed, it does not look like there is a possibility of trading names for a reduction in time served.

It should have been an important case as so many well-connected people were reported to be frequent flyers to that island. So, we will see how it goes.

The British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted Wednesday of luring teenage girls to be sexually abused by the American millionaire Jeffrey Epstein.
The verdict capped a monthlong trial featuring sordid accounts of the sexual exploitation of girls as young as 14, told by four women who described being abused as teens in the 1990s and early 2000s at Epstein’s palatial homes in Florida, New York and New Mexico.
Jurors deliberated for five full days before finding Maxwell guilty of five of six counts.
She faces the likelihood of years in prison — an outcome long sought by women who spent years fighting in civil courts to hold Maxwell accountable for her role in recruiting and grooming Epstein’s teenage victims and sometimes joining in the sexual abuse.

Another take on the sealing of the court records is because there are other ongoing investigations of people involved and so they don't want the info that came out in the GM trial being shared publicly just yet. We'll see....
