If you have a slight interest or really want to delve into the subject, this is the place for you. I listened to most of the videos and picked up some very helpful info for me and others I know. One of the items was which oil to use to carry the essential oil. I was aware of jojoba oil, but had not used it. Wow, it soaks right into my skin. I'm outdoors a lot, so I need all the help I can get.

Feeling overwhelmed - try some frankincense or a citrus blend. Did you know essential oils are good for cooking, too?

This event is for the weekend of October 26-27, 2019. You do have to sign up but can watch for free. If you want long-term access, then you can purchase that.

I really do recommend this one to everyone.

In addition to the videos, there are several "books" that can be downloaded. I just save them in PDF.

I'm telling y'all - it is a great deal!

I just got back from visiting my sister in South Carolina. She had some sage oil and it was really great. We'd both just like to sit around and sniff it all day if we could! So ordered a bottle for myself. Brand is Aura Cacia.
Ooops, link to Amazon product got deleted by the forum. I guess they don't allow links to Amazon products here.

We don't specifically disallow Amazon - don't know why that link failed.

Clary Sage, right? I use that brand, too. A great way to use it is with jojoba oil. Put some of the jojoba oil in your palm and add a drop or two to that. Then mix it up and put it on your body. I put it on my neck and other pulse points. I also do the same thing with frankincense. BTW, if you use any citrus oils, be sure not place anywhere that gets sun because it will make dark spots on your skin.

Also, you can get small glass tubes with steel roller balls from Amazon. You can place your desired blend in and take with you. I mentioned the results I get with frankincense to a friend and they said "let me try it now".:-D

Is it sage or clary sage?
They are, I believe, oils used in distinctly different ways.

A few highlights from what I've viewed so far:

Oils for female hormones (top 10)
clary sage
lavender
thyme
sandalwood
rose
ylang ylang frankincense
peppermint
evening primrose oil (also used as a carrier; technically not an essential oil)

Lesser known essential oils
bergamot: uplifting, heart, metabolism
neroli: calming, labour, sleep, decrease cortisol
kunzea: calming, relax muscles/joints, antirust (antioxidant)
cypress: grieving, blood flow, respiratory, cells, skin
cistus: uplifting, lungs, wounds, immune, lymph
black spruce: calming, muscles
ledum: uplifting, endocrine, immune, drainage (eg ears/sinuses that need to drain), metabolism, focus
sandalwood: removing negative mind programs, memory, limbic, skin
tsuga: decreasing overwhelm, balance, stimulant, blood; esp at temples
ylang ylang: masc/fem balance, bedroom, perfume, self esteem, heart, focus

Hair Care
Ancient cultures:
NAmerica: long hair - aloe vera
Morocco: damage, dry - argonne
Asian: shampoo, soft, strong - fermented rice
Egypt - castor + almond oils
Africa: avoid breakage - shea, cacao

rosemary + cypress - circulation
aloe vera - decr rate of greying hair
cedarwood + lavender - stimulate hair growth
lemon - highlights

Hair Moisturizing Masque:
avocado oil
olive oil
frankincense oil
manuka oil
lemon oil

Hair Gel:
1 cup distilled water
2 tablespoons flax seeds (boil and separate out the seeds to leave the gel)
2 ounces avocado oil
2 drops peppermint oil
3 drops lavender oil
3 drops cedarwood oil

History of Essential Oil Use
spice trade and influence on colonization, exploration, trade + cultures
Japanese offices and malls: use of aromas for specific purposes (mood etc)
Frankincense: antibiotic
Myrhh: preservative
Cedarwood: disinfectant
Coca Cola's initial use was for returning vets with PTDS: loaded with essential oils which are still used in Coca Cola
Body heals itself; essential oils are a tool to help with this

Oils for Body Systems
limbic/emotional - all oils affect this system
adrenals - ashwaganda (came up a few times even though it's not an essential oil)
skin, sleep, stress, decr histamine response - lavender
digestive + respiratory - peppermint
adaptogen for pretty much every system - frankincense
thyroid as adrenal's 'best friend'; often starts with adrenal fatigue... leaky gut, iodine + myrtle + myrhh + frankincense

2 oils to decrease cortisol:
- clary sage
- neroli
2 oils to decrease histamine
- lavender
- blue tansy
Note: at home I use a combo of: lavender, lemon, peppermint + frankincense to decrease sniffles etc from plants, pollen, dander, etc.
I'll probably add blue tansy to that list now that I've heard of it's usefulness here
Sleep trio
- lavender + cedarwood + vetiver

Essential Oils for Detoxification
Start with DRAINAGE!
- bowel movements: 2-3/day if you've got health issues
- liver + bile
- kidneys
- lymph
- brain : frankincense for 'brain drainage' (eg w 'brain fog') rub it at temples, forehead, neck
Once these are working you can start to get rid of the toxins, parasites, etc. If you don't get the drainage pipes open before you start clearing stuff, then the stuff that is cleared will get stuck and cause reactions

Parasites as the motherlode of toxicity because
- mold spores can live in parasites
- bacteria + viruses can live in parasites, eg Lyme
- parasites are like heavy metal 'sponges'

blue tansy oil: anxiety/anger, skin, decr histamine, decr worms
helichrysum oil: liver/bile, antimicrobial, decr stagnation, hear brain
