We all know that being a teenager can be difficult and awkward. Many of us can look back on those years and recall a painful season of hormonal, body, and social changes. However, while reflecting on our youthful glory days we often exclaim how thankful we are that we did not have social media back then. Afterall, who would want all of our embarrassing moments with documented and immortalized for years to come?

Hmm, body image issues and social media... wonder what the connection is to eating disorders.
To answer the question, we have not yet launched our kids in the direction of social media, figuring that remaining deviceless 'dinosaurs' is, for the moment, simpler from some standpoints + more challenging from the standpoint of keeping socially connected.
Not sure I really like that type of connection, so there you have it in a nutshell... for better or worse:fp
