It's that time of year again, with mounting anticipation of the Holiday season and the celebrations, Christmas for some, and Hannukka for others, or simply a time to relax after the work year for most, for a few days at least.
Although many will be working, as someone has to carry out the shifts in hospitals, and other important areas of life that don't ever have a break.
And I recognise that for some this time of year is often one of the saddest and loneliest, as loved ones are missed and memories of the past flood back.
As a lifeline counsellor in the past, I know that the suicide calls increase at this time of year, so let's all do our bit and make sure we think of those who are not so happy, give a little of our time and energy to the elderly - those who live alone with no...
