"Don't let the ants steal your happiness."

Captain Snout is a super hero anteater that helps children keep unhappy thoughts away.

Thoughts have power! the superhero announced. They can change how you feel. They can make you feel good, or they can make you feel rotten.

Ants are automatic negative thoughts, which we all have from time to time and a super power question - "Is that true? Are you 100% sure it is true?" Also, you have to watch out for those blaming ants because they don't want you to learn how to fix situations.

The author explains that the idea is based on cognitive-behavioral therapy, which has a good track record on helping people identify and change negative self-talk. It is a short story with lots of cute illustrations. It is the kind of story they whole family could read and help each other out with seeing some of those ants.

It is out of stock on Amazon but available at the author's website. https://www.brainmdhealth.com/captain-snout

Someone has to be the bad guy, but why ants? They are such a positive force in nature. (And yes, I have been bitten on the bee-hind, and it was my own fault for sitting on their nest!)
