therium, glad you called out Aiken - that was a bit of a shock to me. I lived in Columbia for many years (originally from Greenville), but didn't know the wealth in the surrounding area. We moved to Portland a few years back, but I travel back to CAE from time to time (was there end of September).
This thread reminds me of the phrase "Better living through chemistry....!"
I, too, must have coffee - lots of it - to function. Kcups are my preferred "quick" coffee / hot chocolate method, but the French Press is my all-time favorite coffee, hands-down.
(Wow - that couple of sentences was...
I've been pondering what all this might mean - at the 40,000-foot level - and want to share my key learning: our increasing observation of these types of events should help us to understand in a tangible manner the raw power we have to create a world in which all things are better, fairer, more...
It was an interesting - and perhaps (arguably?) worthwhile read; I personally try to put these types of books into the "now, that was interesting!" category rather than ruminating too much on their content - I can get too interested in the past, and would personally rather focus on the future...
I have a couple of friends with whom I've shown my luck in finding a great spot - and subsequently explained it's my prior intentions that are being manifest. Finally, I think we're all "getting it" and they are no longer laughing, but trying it themselves....!
I would love to know what this might be - I couldn't walk past it this weekend, like it was demanding I take it home (so I did!)... The thumbdrive gives an idea of its size...
I totally recommend Lynn with PsychicFocus: "I'm a mom of four embracing my 4th decade. I've been doing readings (personal & public) since 2012. My focus includes, but isn't limited to: paranormal, passed loved ones, relationships, remote viewing, and past/future events. I sense things via...
Sorry, I may have geeked out too much there.
I know of Schlumberger as a manufacturer of semiconductor process equipment, as is Kokusai (deposition furnace). I was making an intensely geeky joke there regarding the emissions from the furnace when a semiconductor wafer is under full processing...
A couple of years ago, I found that (as a Blood Type A) I am "allergic" to red-blooded meats (cow, pig, and - sob!! - lamb) with a specific reaction of all my major joints becoming highly inflamed for a couple of days afterwards. I've just learned to program them out of my diet, and Voila! Happy...
I truly appreciate the back-and-forth in this thread, principally because it shows we all have more to learn, and that learning arises from differences, and differences cause [transitional] angst. Y'all keep it up - this is headed in a great direction!
Carl, Welcome to Oregon! The universe moved us from South Carolina to Hillsboro, Oregon 2+ years ago, and I find it to have been an immensely positive thing; the wine's pretty good here, too! O.o:D
I used it to [quite effectively!] kill off some annoying toenail fungus issues. It was a wonder to behold (over time, of course). It was easy to use: line a trashcan with a new trashbag, pour in the Bragg's ACV, soak each foot for 10 minutes, dry. Easy!
Over? under? It's not that I don't care
It's just that I only care when it's bare
Bare means that I have a care, and
That care means that I have to
Travel the stair.
With care.
Bare.
[With extreme apologies to all, but occasionally I just get these wild hairs to make silly rhymes. Be glad we...
