And all of you seem to have the knack of melting hearts with their smiles and words (well, haven't met your daughter yet, even online, but I'd bet she fits right in that mold)...

In the southern US, it is known as being able to open a door with a smile.

Wow, what an amazing sun room. Just keep your toasties on:ROFL:

That sunlight makes me think of the 'rainbow streamer' effect I discovered I could get when I looked at a nice bright sun like that through some nearby branches. It is quite stunning and something that I know has always been there. I just became truly aware of it fairly recently.
It's when you look at the sun through a filter of branches and notice each individual ray shining out from the center. Then, if you look closely, you can see that these light rays are coloured like a rainbow. Plus, if you keep peering at it closely you can notice that these rainbow light stream outward from the center. Really magical. Simplest thing ever. Available wherever sun shines near you someplace near a tree or other leafy object.

Good thing your cabin has internet so that you can keep up with such scientific advances:))

Ya, internet is a necessary evil. I have no cell service or anyway to communicate unless i use a satellite phone. This service comes thru a dish and satellite. This way I can phone in sick when I'm up here and stay a day or two longer...
