We've all heard or read of NDE reports where the released soul participates in its own life review. Presumably to grab onto and fully appreciate the nuances of the life just lived. Perhaps the soul, still encased in body, but with a metaphysical bent of mind, can conduct a life review. It would all be a matter of asking the right questions. People doing the exercise of Myer Briggs and other personality charts are perhaps looking to do this, but at a much shallower level.

Perhaps by conducting a mid-term life review, it can result in orientation to the driving forces in your life, that otherwise would remain subconscious, but still fully active, with the driver behind the wheel (the person in charge) being veiled to you in the current moment of time/space. Even if it only uncovered a percentage of the truth of your being, wouldn't that be helpful both in terms of forward motion and acceptance of what is?

The reason I think it is important to have awareness of this spiritual type of enquiry and to apply it to yourself, is that you can discern when you hear theories from other people, such as "you are born into a slave life - deal with it". Each soul template has so much more than what is at first perceived. While I understand the concepts of archons and Earth slavery, I have traditionally thought and still adhere to the concept that Earth is essentially a school for embodied spirits; and moreover, the entire Universe is such. If it is a school, then I agreed to attend that school for my own purposes - evolution and growth. So whether the lesson comes as a slave/master paradigm, or a busting-through paradigm, in the end I am fully participant in the experiences attracting to me because they are on the course curriculum. (In a way, that is the genius of the Harry Potter series, because it bases everything on a school of learning.... fractal within a fractal?)

Tracking the life so far lived by myself in this body, I asked myself these questions:

Review the patterns, the re-occurring fabric of your life, that make up your experience so far.

Questions:

What are the key notes, the tone, of the life?
What is the overall emotional colour of the life?
How satisfied are you that you are reaching milestones in spiritual progress by living this life?
When looking with metaphysical eyes, not material ones, what are the goals of this life?
What have you placed in your pre-life contract that has drawn you to certain people, places and events?
When something seems inevitable, what beliefs are causing that?
When filtering the important from the unimportant, what are the major "rocks" that fall into place, and lend gravity to your situation?
When every detail of your life is observed, weighed, and scraped away at the conclusion of the life review, what remains?

Answers:

In sacred geometry, the sphere encompasses all, so be aware that the answers can be more than one from each angle of perception.

What are the key notes, the tone, of the life?

Whilst being one of billions, being on a journey of aloneness through enquiry and experience. Best shown by the fact of having a twin, but not being enmeshed in the life of that physical twin.

What is the overall emotional colour of the life?

A magenta ray, of a confident belief in one's wholeness and purity, and enduring belief in strength of purpose, against all odds. Tempered with turquoise to deep green highlights, which is sadness interspersed with the major colour ray, as the reality of duality and depth of shadow is experienced.

How satisfied are you that you are reaching milestones in spiritual progress by living this life?

While every step from babyhood, to tweenie, to teen to young adult to mid-life to late middle aged (current now) I thought I grasped the spiritual handle of my life, (meaning always pushing for answers), with hindsight as I make this life review I realise truths plainly laid out I couldn't see at the time. The unfolding of the known reality, or expansion, that I have experienced at a doubling rate since the late 1990s with respect to multidimensional realities, ETs, different planes and densities, and the plan of ascension, or in other words, spiritual evolution and unfoldment through potential to actuality, would have been another world 20-30 years ago. But even then, I was on my spiritual journey, and hence I thought I was making progress. Only now can I see what I was immersed in, and how I had to be fully submerged to emerge transformed. In essence, if I live another 20 years, I can only assume the picture will once again be completely uplifted.

When looking with metaphysical eyes, not material ones, what are the goals of this life?

Pre-life contract tasks I have set myself:

To lose the fear of lack of abundance, through experiencing real abundance heartbeat to heartbeat.
To understand the duality play of light and shadow, by becoming fully immersed in shadow but emerging unscathed with the right perspective.
To become fully aware of the illusory nature of the so-called waking state, which in fact is the dreaming state if seen from outside the veil of limitation.
To learn self-esteem and self-love, by surrounding myself with those of a fractured psyche, or mental instability.

What have you placed in your pre-life contract that has drawn you to certain people, places and events?

Completely enmeshing my life with hybrid souls or fully reptilian souls. Fully living and experiencing two marriages, one with a lizard soul and one with a Draco soul (the Draco being much more powerful, magnetic, and dangerous). Moving to the other side of a continent, not knowing that I was simply setting the stage so that I could meet up with and become enmeshed with the Draco soul who was living there.

When something seems inevitable, what beliefs are causing that?

By being too magnetized to a certain concept or belief, and by repressing other opportunities, not allowing the potentiality to spring into action in ways that cannot be imagined. In other words, participating in limitation, because through limitation, we learn. And then to burst through that limitation, to a new plateau of existence in which old limitations fall away like dry scales.

When filtering the important from the unimportant, what are the major "rocks" that fall into place, and lend gravity to your situation?

Gender. Knowing that for this lifetime you have chosen the meat-suit that best suits your learning programme, and that in other lifetimes you will make other choices of gender and fully experience them then. I was listening to some woman's rant about "theybies" and "babies", who was saying that between the ages of 0 and 4, there are no paramount differences (my words, hers being too ineffectual for me to fully remember). Thus not taking into account, the psyche, the neuronal patterning, the fleshly meat-suit, the purpose of duality and experience of one kind or another, and the soul's choice for experience which will be laid down lifetime after lifetime to create an archive of learned experience.

Self-love. Which boils down to self-acceptance, knowing the body and imbalance is illusory. Not accepting fate per se, as in a fate in which you do not participate in governing and directing, but accepting outcomes of decisions taken and outgrowths of plays you have undertaken.

Learning to accept grief and loss, as readily as you accept success and transcendence. Grief and loss are stepping stones on the journey.

When every detail of your life is observed, weighed, and scraped away at the conclusion of the life review, what remains?

Lighter than a feather, Shakespeare had it right in The Merchant of Venice, when the chunkier aspects of the life lived dissolve, and only the intent remains. The intent, and I would say, the integrity towards self-development and spiritual evolution, which is intent said in another way. As someone once claimed: The Unbearable Lightness of Being.

This is a great idea—thing to do—and post HM! I appreciate that you included answers to the questions as it provides great examples of what we could response with. I'm sure this could be a very private experience for some, who may feel more comfortable sharing in a personal journal, digital or by pen (pen/pencil whoever, is the superior choice when doing something like this though, in my oppinion.)

One question comes to mind: How often do you think we should do this life review with such questions?

Yes, it's an expression you do just for yourself (but I'm very extravert... ) It's something you would do to try and see the pattern, since everything in life is repeating at a slower or faster rate, it just gives you the pause to be able to catch that on its way past. And while still remaining honest, you would try and see it objectively (meaning, you wouldn't diss your parents for something they did or didn't do, for example, but you might say you understand why you chose those parents because the life lesson has unfolded exactly as expected for the learning event).

According to Denise's recent HighHeart Life blog (and something which I was already aware of) every living, sentient being had a life review back in 2012 when we passed the marker date of 21st December. As I'm sure you're aware, this takes place at the higher level of soul, and so the aspect here on Earth might not be aware of it consciously (but subconsciously, most definitely).

I know mine had the outcome of a whole new contract written up and which I signed in dream-space right on the doorstep of 12:00am on New Years Day, 2016. Of course, I can't remember exactly what, but my life has taken a turn for the positive since that date. Although still challenged by problems, I seem to be hitting on synchronous highs a lot more often, which gives me the confidence to go ahead and take more risks (meaning, letting life carry me, without so much stress and strain of struggling to survive).

I think you can overdo anything, so probably the mid-life review here in embodied consciousness would be just that, one or two times in a life-time.

I have to say that your own perception of yourself (boosted and bolstered by any kind of inner work that you do) is probably way different to the perceptions of those around you, even loved ones. It is a road less travelled to be candid about yourself, even when it is only to yourself.

To become fully aware of the illusory nature of the so-called waking state, which in fact is the dreaming state if seen from outside the veil of limitation.
I recently heard the view that both waking and dream states are illusory - and just residing in one or the other is not breaking through the illusion at all. Therefore, to be able to merge with Source, must be the experience of breaking through both waking and dreaming illusions, to a beyond that we are, as yet, unaware of.

I like this - makes sense to me.
