Since this summer I have, a number of times felt a wind that was 'more' than just a wind.
Each was a wind all right, and did all the usual windy things; whirled leaves and twigs around, sprayed water up from the ocean, lake or puddle, brought a fresh breeze, moved the clouds around stirred the air... What was different about each of these winds is that they stirred me. Each felt like they brought a message.

The first wind felt like WIND OF CHANGE with a tumultuous personality. Someone who would shake things up wherever they went, just by being there, but also because they were brimful of energy and fresh ideas. No guarantees about this wind paying attention to your being in the middle of it or taking care to not muss your feelings. It was just there, doing its thing and you could respond as you liked.
The next wind was another wind of change, a gentle and loving one. Like a caress. Soothing fears and letting one know that everything will be all right. It was a warm wind and left things feeling better taken care of after coming around, like each thing was in the right place, where it belonged. You could fall asleep in this wind and have very pleasant dreams. It had a big harmonious presence that you could sink into, like falling into a soft lap.
Next was a boisterous, excited wind. Very happy to make changes, very sociable and in touch with everyone and everything it stirred. It seemed to be saying 'Whoopee! What a ride' all the time. You could not be touched by this wind and not have a smile on your face. It left one with a real feeling of joy at the fun of the upcoming changes. It came and went very quickly, passing by on its way to its next adventure.
Following this was a cleansing wind of change. Big, sloshing amounts of wind energy whirled around like the rinse cycle of a wash machine. But it was gentle cycle if that was what you needed. The point of this wind was to clean up the accumulated mess of what had been left unclean, for however long. You could call it the 'spring cleaning' wind. It was very thorough and left one feeling refreshed.

Today's wind was a penetrating wind of change. It lifted up one's shirt, found the seams in one's pants and left one knowing that it had gone right through all the layers, leaving everything sorted out and cleaned up behind it.
In order to reach me from the direction it appeared to be coming from it would have had to go up a long, narrow flight of stairs, down a long hallway and then into the area I was in, strong enough to reach me around a bit of a corner a distance away from the last (third) door it had passed through in order to get to me.
There were no barriers to this wind. It seemed to be saying 'Bring it all out. I will be in every nook and cranny very soon anyway. No use hiding out/hiding anything in your pockets or secret spaces anymore. It's more pleasant if you come out here to meet me.' It was a very respectful wind for all its penetrative ability. It left me feeling more organized, like I'd not only taken a shower and put on fresh clothes but had sorted out all my thoughts, emotions, etc so was ready to do whatever was needed<3

Over the years, I’ve seen quite a few references to wind in relation to the ascension process or “Shift”. I seem to recall there were even some in Dolores Cannon’s QHHT sessions...but unfortunately, I can’t recall specifics. :(

You've put something I felt into such lovely words. I've felt the winds of change, with their own sound, intensity, and smell. They carry promise and excitement of the unknown. The gentle winds of love lift up my hair and swirl around and through me.

Yes another wind of change today. It was a personal one, a little wind. It was magnificently timed.

I woke from a nap to tingling of my tongue that felt like it was being made more active. With this I heard 'Taste the sweetness and joy of life" and felt a little personal wind of change bring the bright luminecent light from this weekend's session and pour this quality right into my heart in a personal little 'heart waterfall'.
(see here for the session I refer to: https://www.transients.info/roundtable/threads/remote-group-healing-calling-in-the-pleiadians-weekend-of-the-28th-of-october-2017.3804/)

Then I warmed right up which felt wonderful.
Then the sun peeked out from behind a cloud to illuminate everything in a way that was reminiscent of the light.

Then, I ate some chocolate and saw a rainbow from my rainbow-making crystals in the window as I reached for the chocolate:-D

Another notable thing for me today was the feeling of another 'wind of change'. It's been months since I felt one of these.

This one was a strong, steady stream of change.
I had the feeling that it would be pointless/inadvisable to oppose its clearing effect. The mental image I am left with for anyone attempting to oppose it is a shoulder shrug of 'yeah, you can do that and learn the hard way to see what it inevitably leads to'.

This wind left me feeling purified in the way a swim in crystal clear waters does, snorting streams of shining water from nose and mouth as one emerges, delighted, from under a waterfall and snorts the water playfully at a loved one while watching the beautiful rainbow effects of water + sunlight mingle and dance.

Yes!
After a long, dry spell (dreamwise and windwise) it has been:

- one morning with one 'urgent' dream (transformation of depleted land toward beauty and grace and a boatful of visitors from afar; here: https://www.transients.info/roundtable/threads/an-urgent-dream.5180/#post-33679)
+ this most recent 'breakthrough" wind of change
+ very helpful insights regarding the most recent full moon (https://www.transients.info/roundtable/threads/sagittarian-full-moon-approaching.5172/)
- next morning another dream (trainwreck which left a hidden jewel; also here: https://www.transients.info/roundtable/threads/an-urgent-dream.5180/#post-33679)
+ hanging out with my quartz
+ lots of help from many of you (more on that, too, later)
- waking up the next morning piecing together a lot of things<3

I haven't posted about any 'winds of change' for a while now. There were some moments that had that 'still, alert' feeling about them; or maybe it would be more accurate to say that the world felt it went still, waiting for me to become alert to something that was about to be communicated. At any rate, I haven't posted about them mostly because I didn't feel there was anything very new about the winds in the interim; there were more winds of change, clearing, soft caresses and boisterous, laughing 'skirt-lifters'.

The other day, I was in the midst of busy day, hurrying on to my next task, enjoying a bike ride while immersed in thoughts of the next thing I had on my mental 'to-do list'. So this was different right off the bat, as most of the winds of change that come along do when I step outside to get a sense of the day or during other types of contemplative moments. This one grabbed my attention from the midst of mundane concerns.

I had that 'stay alert' feeling of stillness waiting to communicate as I felt the wind caress me riding along on my bicycle. That wind became the message and entered that 'other space' of awareness at the same time as it caressed me on my bike; one could say it was in two places at once. The part of me which was 'listening to other places' heard a creaking, groaning sound of a structure under pressure. It reminded me of what a house might do when buffeted by a really strong wind and that was the feeling I got; a strong wind, a strength beyond mundane/3D/common ability to withstand. That brief sound, so familiar (we've probably all heard a similar sound of a structure groaning under pressure) spoke so much and the wind on my face and body accompanying it said the rest.

It felt like potential. It felt strong. It felt very, very real and present at the same time that it felt like a presaging of what was soon coming 'here' where I live, where we all live. It felt like a choice. If one stood in the way of it then if felt like 'Good luck. You'll never withstand it. You'll get blown down.' There was far too much strength to this multidimensional wind which would take with it and dissasemble anything that tried to stand against it. If it didn't reach out and take down a structure in its way from one angle it would simply do so from another angle. No problem. No emotion. Just strength, clear and pure.
Alternately, if one picked up/joined the wind and flew with it, then its strength felt like it would lift me up and buoy me up in ways I could never find 'down here'. If I let it flow through me it would fill me with its strength. Barriers that had felt so real and solid would dissolve and fade away, leaving me free to enjoy and play with the wind, going wherever I liked. For me this had a quality of 'whoo hoo!':)):-D and I knew that this would be a fun ride and full of surprises.

Sigh, I love flying. It's one of my oldest 'dream/meditation state' feelings and always fills me with joy.
This one was a few days ago and I've felt echoes of it throughout my days since.

I'll post this one separately since it occurred just a few minutes ago. I've had very little time to post or browse here recently so am compressing a few things in here.

I was outside in my favourite spot for 'feeling the pulse of things', having a few rare moments for myself, reading... when I noticed that 'pay attention now' feeling that I've come to know and love.
I looked up and saw clouds that were really quite heavy and dark. By themselves, they would have presaged dark, heavy times, troubles and tough passages. However, with the sun at my back shining onto those same clouds they were simply heavy clouds of potential. Potential can change and, becoming aware of that, I watched for a while to see what there was to see.

The clouds slowly shifted, as clouds do, almost imperceptibly. Light came shafting through or subtly cooling, warming, mottling or otherwise changing the scene pretty much continuously.

Then the dragonfly appeared. Another caught the corner of my eye and I watched them fly. That is always a pleasure as they are such skilled flyers! I sensed another and the third came into view, then a fourth. A fifth danced in and then a definite sixth with a sense of there being more though perhaps not within my limited viewpoint all at the same time. They danced, as only dragonflies can dance, lifting and weaving through the air, their flight, I noticed, tending to take them higher, gradually.

I remembered that, in his book 'Animal Speak' Ted Andrews gives dragonflies and damselflies the 'keynote' of "The Power of Light". How appropriate given that I was observing the play and power of light as they came to dance. I also recalled that they are often bringing news of transformation via the refractive light dances of their wings, body and movement. I laughed inside, recalling how impressed the author was with their aerial feats, as I was now. He mentions that they can even fly backward.

Looking at the book now, I am also struck by a few other mentions: they are ancient, archetypal creatures >180 million years old. They capture their prey with strong jaws and powerful legs. Their beautiful jewel like coloring take time to develop, to reflect their true colors, sometimes passing through several color changes as they mature, forming their colors the same way rainbows do; via light refraction. They are associated with two year periods of change. They are magical, "remind us that we are light and can reflect the light in powerful ways if we choose to do so" and and recall the 'let there be light' in your life aphorism, i.e. "the divine prompting to use creative imagination as a force within your life" bringing "the brightness of transformation and the wonder of colorful new vision".

It was all very soothing so I lay down to rest. As I did, the visual that popped in was a familiar one that has been a theme recently; a bright magma-orange orb of glowing light. It changed size, moved around and was then carried places by a trio of dragonflies, eventually coming to rest. How appropriate, I thought, thinking of orange as the color of our creative force. When it landed, it seemed to need a balance of blue: deep indigo blue. This took a while to develop and needed a bit of help from a bright golden light and the blue-green colors of a clear sea. Into the middle of it all burst a soothing green, huge light, encompassing them all as if in a big hug with impossibly wide arms. I realized that the initial orange and indigo colors felt feminine and like two sides of a coin; the fiery passion and the cooling wisdom. The huge green light that brought them all together also felt feminine. The golden and sea blue/turquoise felt masculine and, along with the red and white 'bookends' created a structure for the feminine forces to play and create anew. All that was new came out of the void. It felt good.

I felt rested and when I opened my eyes the sky had completely changed. There was no more menace in the clouds, not even latent menace. The weight had lifted completely and been replaced by fluffy white 'sheep's wool' clouds with plenty of light mixed in. There was so much more room to move within those clouds. The whole picture had changed as the dragonflies had danced and led me to sleepily dream of their bright, beautiful jewel like colors.

Well, well, well. I was just writing to a friend about yesterday's weather. Odd, unusual winds and clouds. My dog was a bit distressed for awhile, so I checked for tornadoes but none were around. Looking at one cloud that stuck out like a long rectangle and heard "Hammer of God". I think it fits in with what you wrote above - resist and you will get hammered or go with and the hammer will clear a path.

Yup; be hammered by 'The Big Hammer' or have your path cleared by the same 'Big Hammer' fits perfectly with the theme of this wind.

There was nothing personal about either being hammered of having the hammer clear the path. It was just a hammer doing what hammers do. What was memorable for me was the feeling of having that choice and of how amazing and uplifting 'going with' the hammer's (or wind's or whatever metaphor's) strength felt.

And it changed everything 'without lifting a finger', so to speak.

It’s so easy when we give in and go with the flow, a nice smooth comfortable ride, but try to swim against it and yes, we get hammered, thrown all over the place, but I guess we have to experience the hammering to appreciate the smooth.

This weekend I experienced another wind of change. It was a boisterous, bracing wind though at the same time I felt held oh-so gently, as if cupped in the hand of a gentle giant making sure not to crush the tiny life s/he held a s precious. It went on all day. It was only after a comment of Linda's that I remember it; thank you.

What I realized as I recalled it wast that the general weather at the time was very, very heavy. It was affecting people I know in the way pressure changes do. After the winds had blown over the lightness that makes everything easier had returned, along with the sunshine :-D

Then, this morning, out on the deck another 'winds of change' moment. At first it seemed there was no wind present until I felt it; a tiny little wisp, a wisp that kept everything precious intact in a moment of stillness before the change.

Then the dragonflies started to come. They are still out there, creating play of colors with their wings and transforming the garden into a fairy playground. They fly in single, pairs and groups, darting in a way only they can. Out from nowhere. In a line until they have ducked under a bush in an entirely different direction. Creating their little shadows as they sweep above me and going so fast that I have to trust that they are really there. By the time I lift my head to look they are long gone:-))

A few things that stand out for me as I read the dragonfly pages in my favorite animal book "Animal Speak" by Ted Andrews:
Their keynote is 'the power of light' (contented sigh)
They can fly backwards (who else can do that?)
They can even fly with one wing if the need arises. Talk about flying virutosos!
In two years they metamorphose from nymph on the water to mature flying ace
Their iridescent, magnificent colors are formed the same way rainbows form; by reflecting light
They pass through several color changes as they age
Some see them as relatives of ancient dragons

A few direct quotes:
If they have shown up, look for change to occur.
Let there be light is the divine prompting to use the creative imagination as a force within your life.
Life is never quite the way it appears, but it is always filled with light and color.
Dragonfly can help you to see through your illusions and thus allow your own light to shine forth.
Dragonfly brings the brightness of transformation and the wonder of colorful new vision.

Now it's time to get back to the dragonfly show:-D

Winds of change - I know that feeling. We back up to a canyon, and sometimes the winds and clouds rush in. Lately, we've had a different wind bringing some of the Sahara with it. Although not unusual here, the intensity and amount of sand this time has not been seen for 50 years. Some say these dust clouds are responsible for the build up that created the Bahama Islands. Also, the sands have been linked to the growth and health of the Amazon rain forest. So, you can see why I'm wondering what these particular winds might bring.

There have been other winds since I last posted about the winds of change, but life's been busy and I didn't get around to writing about them. Today was another, bigger 'winds of change' day and I had the opportunity to be outside in the wind for some time :-D

This wind felt brisk and no-nonsense in a way I liked. It was here to do its thing and it did. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to spend a bit of time listening/feeling it and just being with it. As I did so I became aware of some shadowy things covering inner parts of me that I wanted to uncover and allow to see 'daylight'. I'd just found them and a good gust came along, right through me, catching its edges and very efficiently clearing it all away.

The second thing that was really noticeable here was how it felt like it blew right through my innermost parts. I was pleased to discover that I hadn't much resistance to it and that things looked clear after the shadowy parts had been cleared so easily and quickly. This wind has really stayed with me and, though it's quite late I am here writing about it because it felt like it needed to be written about.

May our personal winds of change be as warm, brisk, easy and efficient and do whatever needs to be done, and done well.

I actually grew up with this book on my family's bookshelf - with proper plated illustrations, (prints) by the famous Kay Rasmus Nielsen (a Danish Illustrator).
  • East of the Sun & West of the Moon, 1914, translated by G. W. Dasent (1910), illustrated by Kay Nielsen
In a synopsis of the story, here is the brief mention of winds:

The East Wind has never been to the castle east of the Sun and west of the Moon, but his brother the West Wind might have, being stronger. He takes her to the West Wind. The West Wind does the same, bringing her to the South Wind; the South Wind does the same, bringing her to the North Wind. The North Wind reports that he once blew an aspen leaf there, and was exhausted after, but he will take her if she really wants to go. The youngest daughter does wish to go, and so he takes her there.

These are just a few of the images that were in the book, that I got to read whenever I felt like (The edition we had was a compendium of many tales). These are examples of an early Art Nouveau style of the Scandinavian type that started proliferating in the time before WW1.
These are only a taste of the many illustrations found within.
I post them because Lila's post above reminds me of these archetypal stories, with the mystical characters of a love-torn girl, a gorgeous prince who has his outer form changed by the spell of a wicked troll witch, and the journey to find him in the troll's castle East of the Sun and West of the Moon. This epic story reminds me that they had to go beyond the places where the winds arise and blow from, on their journeys, and has all the good elements, such as boy gets girl (in the end).

That is just stunning artwork!
Thank you for sharing. I'll definitely look into this book, though I imagine it'll be a tough one to find.
I have wondered what would have happened in that period of art and life had such a widespread war not occurred so soon after.

It's been quite a while since I posted a wind of change. There have been a few, though none that demanded to be posted.

Today's wind of change occurred while I was balancing in the flow on my bike, hands free like I love to do <3

It was a penetrating wind.

It went 'right through me', at least the solid parts of me, leaving them untouched and interacting instead on the subtler levels where I sometimes see sheets of energy which look a bit like a combination of bedsheets waving in the wind and beams of light. They wave languidly and have certain patterns and directions to them which I am trying to organize in a ways that feels best. Some places they are folded together to form denser areas and these I tease out to let each sheet/beam wave freely and allow them each to sparkle and be clean, clear, aligned, alive and free.
So it was with these sheets/beams that the wind interacted. It penetrated the rest of me as if the densest parts of me were see-through and then acted upon these most subtle parts of me as if they were substantial and made of matter (or energy, I guess).

The overall effect was an aligning, clearing and bringing sparkle to it all. I hope you felt it too:ROFL::-D

I know just the winds you describe - find them more along the Gulf, but every now and then, I feel them in the backyard.
At first the flowing through sensation is odd, but then it is marvelous.
