Angela I have a new bird for you - the Kagu of New Caladonia. I learned about it while watching the series on the South Pacific. Although they have substantial wings, they do not fly. Most of the time they are walking around in a non-display mode, but when they display - wow. My favorite part is the head feathers - hanging down sort of like a pony tail and then raising straight up!!

Here is a short video and a website.

Wow! It's cool seeing a bird that I would associate with a peacock, but very clearly (obviously) isn't a peacock. Even without all the always appreciated multi colored feathers, this bird still has such soft flare. Thanks for sharing it!

The feathers on the kagu’s head are really pretty. It is nice seeing him in motion in the video.

I think this is what Karla SM does with her work.
I don't know, honestly. I thought it was more a kind of visual/visionary channelling what KSM and also H...a do. I never read in her posts where KSM made her process of getting the images clear. There are also usually many channelled and then drawn pictures of ET beings etc. all around the internet actually, so I believed it would be more of that kind. I would use OBE / astral projection and not channelling. (I wouldn't know how to channel something anyway as I have no experience with it). Please note, I'm not making any assessment here anymore also since I do not want to do this kind of discussion around here anymore, so I'm just stating that I believe that the process is different. Anyway, this is a bit too off-topic for this thread now, so please have all fun with your drawings.

Hey, Sinera, I respect your desire not to drag out this convo on this thread. I agree. But can I just mention that I know it's possible to catch data from the akashic without channelling - just a form of alignment. A skill that will be heightened as we draw, sing, paint, sculpt and craft our way into the New Earth.

Day 4.
Small doodle of active soaring wings. An albatross.

I didn't have a lot of time, but it was cool how much simpler the shape of the wing was to sketch out.

Agreed. Although this is maybe just word semantics, one could also say that these 'alignment' activities can be seen as a kind of 'indirect' and involuntary channelling. When I create my music and/or lyrics and get sth really cool then I also ask my'self' quite often: Is that really '(lower)me' or where did I get this little surprising 'stroke of genius' from now? My working hypothesis / main assumption is that it's a form of Higher Self channelling. It works perfectly with creation and arts if you follow your bliss and really want and love to do it.

Bliss is the true origin of manifestation by allowing the flow of directed ('channelled') higher creative energy.

Sinera , I don’t mind the tangent. It is nice reading your comments. You’re like the guy hanging out in the art room who is here for the company. I’m ok as long as everyone else is too. :)

Missed Day 4 - so here is Day 5 - working more on perspective

My grandmother's rocking chair, which was old when it came to me some 40 yrs ago. Many babies have been rocked to sleep there.

I love your subject to practice it! That is indeed a special rocking chair. And I love how you're working with perspective. There is so much you can do with it. Hehe

Day 6 - nothing spoke to me then a thought popped into my head. When I was in elementary school, we had to learn to draw the State of Texas free hand, which is not easy . Voila -

I admit. When I try to sketch out the US, down in that area, it's a little... Wobbly and squiggly.
That is a very nice Texas. The lesson taught you well.

And i have to say, i get excited each day wondering what you're going to draw. Haha

I've always wanted to get a pencil set with the various hardnesses. Seems like tons of fun to play with.
Gave one to my boys for Christmas. We are all using them together. It is a great teaching tool and sparked our creativity.

I recalled something I used to do - print photos in black and white tones and used watercolor pencils to color them, which gave them a mystical or magical appearance. I have no idea where they are now, but it is fun to do.
