Lynn, a very accurate psychic who I have been following for at least 3 years now and who many of the transient community know and follow (many have had personal readings0, recently did a reading on the Pineal Gland. You can find this re-post on Lynn's blog here.

"Q. Hi Lynn, I recently read an article about the pineal gland and it's true purpose of being able to travel through different dimensions and its link to our own spirituality. It said that the PTW are blocking it by having us digestsodium fluoride. How much truth is there to this and if so how do we rid ourselves of the sodium fluoride we have built up over the years? It mentioned that we can activate the pineal gland by meditation etc but will this sodium fluoride still block the true potential even after its activated? Thank you for all the work you do
A. I get the pineal gland is one of the most important physical things we possess in terms of connecting to ourselves and our spirituality. It is possible to have a connection without the gland being fully functional, but it is much more intense and easier to achieve that feeling of oneness if you are able to utilize this "third eye" as a gateway.

It is true that the Powers That once Were (PTW) have introduced sodium fluoride into our lives (fluoride is found in most drinking / bathing water). Even in areas where many people live off well water, it is introduced through dental "prevention" fluoride treatments, toothpaste, and even bottled water from a municipal source. Toxins in general calcify the pineal gland, but fluoride is one of the worst offenders.

The PTW found it necessary to intentionally block the spiritual gateway to maintain power and control. They found people that put faith in other people or circumstances are easier to control than those that realize they hold their own power. Being spiritual is different from being religious, and some PTW that are affiliated with the church want the belief system of religion to override spiritualism. The idea of looking outward for answers versus inward can pose a threat to some paradigms.

Working on a detox and meditation are great ways to awaken your pineal. Eliminate heavy metals and fluoride from your diet while drinking lots of purified water. During a purge you may feel a little off for a few days as things work lose, but just remember to drink lots and lots of water during the process. With diligence, you will notice a big difference in how you feel, and you will start to feel that lost connection.

And that is all I have for this reading. Thank you. Love and light-

[It came to me in closing that many PTW even use the symbolism of the pineal because they know the true power. I was told to google how many times pine cones (which are symbolic of the pineal due to the shape) are seen in dealing with the Pope alone.....]"

Frankincense also is supposed to stimulate the pineal gland. It is a tree sap that can be burned or the essential oil can be diffused. Some ingest it.
For example, I do.
(I vetted brands for one that emphasized keeping things clean)

I have a friend who is highly intuitive and has no pineal gland as it was medically removed.

I think in our modern day we put too much of our focus on this gland without realizing that it is a part of a system, and is one reason that 'new agers' are not achieving 'enlightenment' as is evidenced by lack of personal inner peace with what is for many of us. Like a domino effect, one thing/function will stimulate another rather like tripping switches, but we have to do the work. Even with toxic interference's we can still overcome them if we focus on the whole and not just a part. 'The whole is greater than the parts'.

When I used to practice Kriya Yoga (said to be a scientific method) we were taught about the chakra system that includes the pineal gland and how to stimulate the whole system. Personal alchemy takes place within the brain by using the whole brain and not just one gland.

Tom Kenyon teaches about the subtle flow of energies from the pineal gland in Egyptian alchemy as the 'Stream of Isis'. I've added a picture of his explanation. Many yoga systems incorporate these teachings also.

This link explains a lot: http://www.allgoodthings.com/yoga/chakra/chakra6.html
'According to Yogananda, “the pituitary gland secretes a yellowish fluid, and the Pineal gland secretes a white fluid. When the two meet, there is a flash of light so bright this Chakra is opened. Here then, the two fluids, known in the Bible as 'the land of Milk and Honey,' begin to flow down the pancreatic nerve (The river Jordan) to the third center, which is known as the manger (where Christ consciousness is born within you).”'

You gave me some new resources to geek out on
The brain and natural alchemical processes in the human body fascinates me. The more I indulge in this fascination the more I see and realise that everything is connected and there is no cheating in the process. Or we can cheat but that is to our detriment as there will be unpleasant consequences such when we force kundalini. I had a lady come for a regression session who was training in many spiritual practices but was afraid of spiritual things. She accessed a past life where she took part in some ritual practices that was to force kundalini activation. The outcome was chaos for her and the group causing physical and psychic problems. Very traumatic and scary it was for her, and no wonder she felt fear about pursuing the spiritual training that she was drawn to.

Chakras generally have been often been aligned with the physical body glands - usually with the spine seen as the 'autobahn' (with Kundalini going upwards) interconnecting them and/or through energetic pathways such as 'nadis' (Yogic/Indian) or 'meridians' (Chinese).

Often it is the case though that the spot they are placed (from 1 to 7) is not always exactly matching the physical locations. Look up glands and chakras and you see many depictions. Here's one I just googled:

Detoxing the Pineal Gland can't be emphasized enough from, at least, my point of view. Before I started the action I was somewhat intuitive and partially functional with various Sixth Sense awarenesses but only when my frequency was raised and tuned. My daily action for the last several months includes; essential oils (including frankincense), deep penetrating third eye/pineal activation audios that also include binaural beats at frequencies including 288Hz and 963Hz, a few orgone generators (one of which was placed on my forehead which I consider helped to consolidate my energy when clarity came about on my projects of the 'shifting of the poles'), and occasionally a crystal or two along with a few singing (solfeggio) stones (of various frequencies) in my hands and/or along my chakra points in tow. I do many different things during meditations to enhance the third-eye activation. The floride concern is a strong one as well from my point of view as well having and knowing how its dulled my extra-sensory perceptions growing older from childhood and only in the last six months or so working steadfast on eradicating its awful effects. I find it easier now to drop into a deep meditative state and do my Out-of-Body thing.

Pineal Biochemicals and Human Potential

Having dared to do something different like eat our food raw, we might wonder what else we might do that would bring further benefits. An important step is to start to reactivate our pineal glands. The pineal gland is known as the ‘gateway to the soul’ and the third eye. Opening up the pineal gland means basically to open up our consciousness. Because it has become chronically inactive it is under producing some important biochemicals such as melatonin, dimethyltryptamine (DMT) and pinoline.

One way to start is with ‘Happy Tea’ - passion flower, (which contains analogues of pinoline) mixed with St John’s Wort. Don’t drink more than three or four mugs a day of this tea – as with most herbs moderation is a good idea. Pinoline is a MAOI or mono-amine oxidase inhibitor. Monoamine oxidase is an enzyme which breaks down certain neurotransmitters. When MAOI’s are introduced the neurotransmitter levels go up. MAOI’s also occur in raw cacao - one reason raw chocolate makes people feel good.

DMT is a neurotransmitter which is still produced in larger quantities by the pineal gland during peak experiences and may be necessary for optimal brain function. It is created in small amounts by the human body during normal metabolism and is in some natural food sources but is broken down by monoamine oxidase. DMT If MAOI’s are being taken in the DMT has more chance of staying in circulation and reaching the brain. MAOI’s should be consumed separately from animal products including dairy, fermented products, and soy products.

I know these two mainly as popular natural herb remedies in the form of pills and teas against depression (esp. hypericum) and sedatives / tranquilizers. So it might also help 'raise vibration' (in new age speak o:);) ) anyway.

This Edgar Cayce explanation is not what you'd think (biblical) but about inner alchemy the endocrine glands, chakras, and mystical states....

I really like the 'anatomic' interpretation of this well known 'mystical' experience.
Similarly, for the chakras being interpreted as endocrine (glandular) centers that are also, quite naturally, energetic.

It is something that I have always resonated with; especially as it naturally makes what some would call a 'supernatural' vision a down-to-earth experience once it it 'interpreted' in this way.

Perhaps what I like most about it is that it can take the fear out of the whole concept, as it makes it so clear that this is something we all do, all have, all can experience; quite naturally.

Also, I'm grateful that I happened to have had time to watch this video, as that is not always the case with your treasure trove of material, Lorna.

Is it possible that these glands are physical manisfestations of chakras or is that too much of a stretch?

It is always possible.

However, the first time I read an ancient monk's description of the chakra system, my immediate reaction was 'He's describing the glandular (i.e. endocrine) system!".
Some anatomic details didn't seem to fit at the time I first noticed this. Subsequent research over the years since then and increased knowledge of physiology filled in the gaps (for example, research showing that the heart is also an organ that secrets the hormone ANP, i.e., it is a glandular organ.
It is also our biggest electricity generator (we measure this in routine medical care as an ECG or electrocardiogram. It has a unique electric system that does this. This electromagnetic field can be measured something like 8 feet out from the body (see, for example, https://www.heartmath.org/resources/infographic/mysteries-of-the-heart/ ). That's a far bigger, stronger electromagnetic field than the brain's.
And, yes, it is a pump for blood. But so much more than a pump!

I wish I recalled whose chakra description it was and the more precise time frame, but it was from at least a couple of millennia ago.

THIS.

I've become increasingly certain that what we believe can harm us WILL harm us. I'm also more and more certain that the reverse is also true. The "Placebo Effect" is a really great example of how our own thoughts and beliefs directly affect our physical bodies and health.

Below is what I believe to be the original article referred to in your link above. Its implications are awesome!
Also, note that the aricle states that hydroxyapatite concretions are also often observed in the pineal gland. This seems particularly interesting when I find this headline:

when I look up 'blue apatite' here:
https://www.healing-crystals-for-you.com/blue-apatite.html
... and couple it with this headline (same source) for calcite:

At the bottom I also added a few other headlines of potential interest regarding pizoelectricity and the pineal.

Calcite microcrystals in the pineal gland of the human brain: first physical and chemical studies.
Baconnier S1, Lang SB, Polomska M, Hilczer B, Berkovic G, Meshulam G.
Abstract
A new form of biomineralization has been studied in the pineal gland of the human brain. It consists of small crystals that are less than 20 microm in length and that are completely distinct from the often observed mulberry-type hydroxyapatite concretions. A special procedure was developed for isolation of the crystals from the organic matter in the pineal gland. Cubic, hexagonal, and cylindrical morphologies have been identified using scanning electron microscopy. The crystal edges were sharp whereas their surfaces were very rough. Energy dispersive spectroscopy showed that the crystals contained only the elements calcium, carbon, and oxygen. Selected area electron diffraction and near infrared Raman spectroscopy established that the crystals were calcite. With the exception of the otoconia structure of the inner ear, this is the only known nonpathological occurrence of calcite in the human body. The calcite microcrystals are probably responsible for the previously observed second harmonic generation in pineal tissue sections. The complex texture structure of the microcrystals may lead to crystallographic symmetry breaking and possible piezoelectricity, as is the case with otoconia. It is believed that the presence of two different crystalline compounds in the pineal gland is biologically significant, suggesting two entirely different mechanisms of formation and biological functions. Studies directed toward the elucidation of the formation and functions, and possible nonthermal interaction with external electromagnetic fields are currently in progress.

Pineal-hypothalamic tract mediation of picotesla magnetic fields in the treatment of neurological disorders.
Jacobson JI1.
Abstract
The objective of this study is analysis of the clinical efficacy of picotesla magnetic fields in the treatment of epilepsy, Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis. The method utilized involved the exogenous application of physiologic, very weak magnetic fields to the brain by Sandyk, Anninos, Derpapas and Tsagas. The magnetic device produced a magnetic field ranging from about 5 x 10(-8) gauss to about 2.5 x 10(-7) gauss at frequencies of 2 to 7 Hertz. The wave form was sinusoidal and the device was positioned about the posterior portion of the corpus callosum most specifically to influence the pineal gland. Direct correlation of melatonin production with magnetic field stimulation was established. Amelioration or palliation of the neurological conditions was observed over an extended period of time in most cases. It appeared that a resonance situation was established between the magnetic field and melatonin which could be explained with Jacobson Resonance. These studies begin to point to the explanation of the mechanism of interaction between non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation and biological systems. Furthermore, the evaluation of the pineal gland as an magneto-sensitive gland may help us understand fundamental conditions in magneto-receptors of biological systems in terms of their piezoelectric nature.

"Antidepressansts often cause people to become a supernova of beauty and well being, for a period of a few weeks to months as everything that once made them beautiful is driven to its maximum and held there until it dies from overexertion. They then slowly fade into a dark and numb state of nothingness. Since the neurons in the brain itself cannot send a pain signal to alert an individual to the destruction taking place, it all happens without complaint. Headaches are felt from inside the walls of blood vessels, not neurons. Neurons die quietly.

Antidepressants affect only the frontal lobes, which leaves those who take them able to function in a logical sense, which hides the true magnitude of how horrible and damaging they are, and the fact that people can still function as zombies and work while on them and after taking them is being used to cover up the true horror of what they really do."
