So last night, I had a series of really violent dreams. This isn't entirely out of the ordinary for me, but last night's were completely out of bounds--involving my shooting a mass murderer several times and surviving some really horrific booby-traps involving explosives and large metal cables attached to trees, etc. As I (and many, many others) huddled against the ground while shattered trees and cables tore through the air around us, I had the distinct feeling that this dream was part of a "last-ditch" psychic attack.*

Thankfully, I managed to survive in the dream, although once the mayhem ceased and the dust settled, I could clearly see that others hadn't. To illustrate the horror of the event, I opened my eyes to find someone's detached head spinning around on the ground in front of me. ICK!!

Anyway, my immediate thought upon waking was that this dream was no coincidence. I tried to transmute the energy of it into an energy of compassion and love for the lives lost--and (dream or not) found some comfort with the understanding that the horrors I had just witnessed were only temporary experiences/illusions of darkness, fear, and separation.

Given that this specific day/night/period of time is understood by many to be of some importance with regard to shifts and incoming energies, did anyone else experience anything similar?

*By the way, I used the term "last ditch" because I strongly felt that the energy behind this demonstration of extreme violence was intentional, extreme, and quite desperate.

Interesting! I have been very lucky and haven't experienced the kind of nightmare you just had but I got the feeling lately that somebody or something is trying its best to get us to start a war or orchestrate a society collapse and it is not working so-far. Something is still blocking those efforts.

Oh, by the way...I also noticed before going to sleep that I had a tough time finding a comfortable position. I kept shifting this way and that for a longer time than usual. I'm not sure if that plays into the overall picture or not, but thought I should mention it.

Hit! The same has been happening to me for about 2-3 weeks. I normally sleep on my right side (years now) but during the last weeks it doesn't work as before and I find myself trying other positions but never getting comfortable. They haven't been preludes to nightmares but I sure had interesting dreams.

Not any "real" nightmares but weird and sometimes scary ones. Also me too, difficult getting comfortable in my bed. Very fractured sleep as well. Waking up around 2:30 and difficulty getting back to sleep. I like the part of this is their last gasp efforts. Seems to ring true.

I was really restless last night. So much so that I moved downstairs to where I have all my stones currently 'sunning' themselves in the window for the new moon etc over the last few days. This seems to be part of a big reorganization and reworking of all kinds of stuff for me now, including my stones. What has been bothering me intensely the last few days is a specific spot in my head that was recently intense enough to make me think I might vomit. Basin in hand, I thankfully kept my cookies:rolleyes: One could certainly interpret this as an attempt to make me reeeally uncomfortable while trying to fall asleep as it kept me up for a long time, though not really a nightmare.

However, what I wrote about in the remote group healing for this week and last seems related in some way. Both weeks I felt pulled in to do the session before I'd planned to. Another thing, I got pulled into this week's while covered in essential oils that I was working with just then, intending to take care of (once and for all!) the same longstanding head (+associated other) pain I mention above. Just as the session ended peacefully for me, that spot in my head felt like it 'snapped' into place. It feels like it still needs work but has 'turned a corner' into a healthier direction.

The night before last I had a dream i was shot in the back. It wasn't nearly as terrifying as your dreams sound. But I woke up feeling the ache in my back. I think it was more personally related though.

I've had two recent - and VERY unusual -- nights of not getting to sleep before 3 or 4am - and I'm usually the one nodding off by 10pm. I figured it was a bunch of energy blasting through the universe, but then I can't pinpoint whether that's been true for me per se or just that I'm cranky from not getting my full allotment of retirement sleep. LOL. O.o:Ds:p

I wonder if that wasn't some kind of "past life recollection"--offering an opportunity to heal it? I suppose that also might apply to my dream, although I'd hate to think that kind of event was based upon something real. But then again, mine was a classic example of the horrors of war...and I've no doubt I've had lifetimes of dealing with that. <sigh>

I have an image of the PTW jumping ever so high and desperately to try and catch those floating helium balloon strings and haul them back to their level. But try as they might, they can't! What can they do to get those balloons floating and rising so high? Nothing, that's what.

Physical discomforts can be translated into dream stories. Just a thought. Perhaps the high impact explosions was wind in the pipes, and the cables had to do with internal plumbing? But I agree, the way you describe it, that the dream expressed something extreme, desperate and intentional like a psychic attack. Perhaps you could look more into what the cables actually were - ropes of steel? What were they for? What did they transport, or what did they connect? The cables were attached to trees, which are natural, earth-rooted beings. I think there's a high chance understanding the purpose and intent of the cables will give you the key to the dream.

The cables were ropes of steel...and I took them, quite literally, as the killing machines they turned out to be. They were connected to the trees, which got blown into huge chunks (massive and trunk-sized) by the explosives and then these carried the cables whizzing about Willy-nilly. It seemed to be raining entire trees and the cables were whizzing about over my head for a good five minutes.

The whole effect reminded me of giant, industrial sized "star shot", which mariners used in maritime warfare during the 17 and 1800s. This cannon ammunition consisted of many metal balls, connected by chain links. There were primarily used to tear up masts and rigging, but I'm guessing one wouldn't want to be anywhere down range of these...

In any case, it was horrifying!

Sounds like directed violence, in that case. Not spontaneous, but things with purpose and intent, things that were "set up", i.e. on ropes or chains of steel. The set-up being, for example, "WE are stronger than nature, things will bend to our will". What's that line in the Bible? "We will have dominion..." In another vision, it might be the same effect as a man-made hurricane... Your value as a spiritual warrior is immediately apparent since you sensed without preamble that it was psychic shock-and-awe, that the illusion was to create fear through apocalyptic means (which was the nature of the predictions for that date), and by realising that it was illusion of separation (including separation of head from body!) you were immediately able to transcend the scene, and the game.

It absolutely had that energy about it!

I've also felt quite "out of sorts" today, despite quite a bit of attempted self-care and meditation. I'm finding that expressing a strong intention of "let them reap what they sow" has been the most effective reaction whenever I'm feeling an unusual discomfort or anxiety today.

I guess it's all part of "The Game".

Hi Stargazer, you have not asked for any dream interpretation, however what struck me about your dream is that it seems to be one of psychic fears being released from your consciousness rather than something literal. Sort of a balancing act when we are focused and choosing to do 'the right thing'. Imagine that the conscious mind is choosing to take the 'higher road' but within the psyche is still some suppressed feelings that are not 'good' but needs to come out of the body/mind matrix but cannot because of the choice to not participate in 'negatives'. How else are they going to be released.....

1. shooting a mass murderer several times = consciously choosing life enhancing things.
2. surviving some really horrific booby-traps = survival of some of the 'life' traps to ensnare your consciousness
3. I managed to survive in the dream, although once the mayhem ceased and the dust settled, I could clearly see that others hadn't. = Some of your old programming does/cannot survive or you have moved beyond them
4. I opened my eyes to find someone's detached head spinning around on the ground in front of me = reminds me of the saying that to kill a snake one needs to behead it, or to end a problem one needs to remove the source.

while shattered trees and cables tore through the air around us
Sounds to me like something going on in your nervous system that has to do with moving beyond the old restrictions. e.g when kundalini bursts forth through the nervous system it can be like an explosion that expands the inner pathways within the body and can trigger fearful feelings as though the body is attacking itself. I'm not saying that this is about a kundalini activation, but the tree and the explosion brought that type of electrical change in the body to mind and may be related to that type of energy.

Those were just my thoughts on reading your dream....this is what I mean about the 'tree':

The spine (tree of life) is the highway to the Infinite - Paramhansa Yogananda

"The change will only happen outside once we change within ourselves."

Hi Stargazer, you have not asked for any dream interpretation
I didn't, but I'm always interested in hearing what everyone has to say...and so I'm very glad some of you shared your thoughts! :)

Very interesting interpretations they are, too!

I hadn't thought of applying the symbolism to me, personally. I think I was looking at it a bit more literally and from a "universal" or "global" viewpoint, where the mass murderer represented "The Posers That Were" (and all their control systems). I had interpreted it as them making a last stand and trying everything possible to stop humanity from awakening further. Now that I think of it, I can see how the traps the mass murderer left behind continued to be a threat, even after he was effectively taken out of the picture. I can see this as being much like our habitual ways of thinking. Even though some things may no longer actually be in our way to slow our progress down, our mental programming can continue to do so. At least until we can work past it and begin to change our habits. :)

Your observations do make very good sense on a personal level though--and I do feel they apply well to the dream. I also greatly resonate with the quote...and I really do feel that many of us (myself included) ARE making many internal changes.

Although I've been choosing to (hey, LOL...just looked up to see the clock at 1:11!) choose, embrace, and express positivity, I am learning to understand negativity and recognize it as a valid soul choice and expression. I also well understand that duality is necessary to experience the fullness of creation. It's simply reached a level (at least here on this version of earth) that is far beyond that which I wish to support or experience. Therefore, I no longer try to engage, suppress, or "fight against" the dark, I merely try to focus my energy on expressing or creating more of what I wish to experience...and that is love and light! :) And I do trust that, at some point, my experience of the "outside" will reflect the changes I've made within. I do see progress and evidence of those changes every day!

Now if only my dreams will begin to reflect these changes too! :) Perhaps you're right, Lorna...that this was my subconscious' way of releasing these things because I no longer need them or have moved beyond them.

There's lots of great food for thought there in any case...thank you!

it seems my ability to see different things eyes closed are developping a bit

i wasn't asleep that moment

so what can a turning circle mean with different layers or something like stairs that go up

Perhaps the turning circle is the layers of darkness being peeled away and the stairs going upwards are symbolic for you heading to a higher dimension. I would be very pleased with that if it were me.

I don't quite comprehend the second part of your post, Alain, surely everyone grows at their own pace, or have I got the meaning completely wrong.

Carl, you are on to it, aren't you? Also, the whole "ascension" thing can be seen as a spiral movement upward. Even a yin/yang normally seen in its flat dimension (2-dimensional) can be seen in a 3-dimensional way - swirling layers, polarities meeting at the nexus of their difference.

It would be hard to determine a segment of a dream without context or personal references. e.g emotional feelings on waking up..
Lorna's earlier post and this one both serve to remind me that interpretation of the dream state always revolves around the person experiencing the dream, i.e. the dream refers to circumstances of the person creating the symbology in their mind. For the mind is at work around the clock, and understanding dreams is to understand the mind as media, whilst the physical body is left in stasis to quietly tick over and perform automated functions. I have a tendency to want to apply universal meanings to some dreams, however, Lorna's wisdom comes to the fore. I suppose it's like looking at the cake batter, and knowing what kind of cake will manifest from those ingredients.

That is why I think it's prudent to learn the language of our own consciousness as it is how the many levels of our being communicates. I always advise that we just write and document our dreams for awhile first, before trying to decipher them. This keeps the communication open rather that our own conscious mind trying to direct our understanding, especially since during our sleep the right brain 'downloads' from the left brain our perceptions about our daily life.

There are so many factors at play in our dreams, including past life 'stuff' as well as parallel life activities bleeding through, future planning which may show up as deja vu circumstances, and so much more, that simplifying with a conscious mind 'belief' does our own consciousness a disservice..
