That kind of sadness comes from the compassionate side of your soul my bro. :)

Yes, we must feel it and accept our own sadness and our own impotence to change lots of things at this time. Our own frustration of what we wish was different in this world. I do that too, cry in silence, embrace my own sadness and angers and frustrations. Capitalism is an imbalance, at least the way it has been handled and communism would be another extreme. I like many things about the European system, it is most definitely a combination of both, with whatever imbalances it still carries.

In here we do not have food stamps, unemployment insurance or the benefits that young sick people have, in here people are forced to work in just anything or rely on their families. There are some programs for very poor people but it is all very limited compared to US or European programs.

I do cry sometimes when I see the magnitude of the brokeness of our global society and the lack of awareness not just from the ones in power but also from people in general.

I see too much hate now for those in power with good reason but also, people expect from politicians what they simply cannot be: loving fair figures when their own reality is extremely harsh having been programmed since childhood not to have a loving family with loving security but instead lives based on extreme abuse and lack of human dignity. Yet we insist in hating them and blaming them for everything. It is no use to fall into "who should be blamed" because everyone suffers, some more than others. But simply if an authority figure never got to know what a loving environment is that enables the heart to develop and to become aware of the needs of others, why make things worse? I see them like children trying to dominate each other and then making people their victims of their lack of a dignified life. And who said anyway that leading entire nations was easy? If there is also competition and control between each other?

We can just do what we can for ourselves and for others within our reach, and maybe just hold the ones in power in a space of more awareness of their own condition.

Yes I think that money is something that is an extremely stigmatized thing in the spiritual community. People have certain beliefs systems that are actually embedded into their energy by society and past experiences in the form of archetypes, vows, and personas. These energy systems block people from experiencing the state of abundance that everyone naturally has. For example, one archetype that people often have is the martyr archetype. This is an unconscious pattern of the suffering saint. People believe that they must suffer in some way in order to be more spiritual, good, or to stop other people from suffering. When a person realizes there is unlimited abundance to go around and no person has to suffer or experience lack they are able to transcend this archetype on a psychological level. But just becoming aware of these patterns and clearing them on a psychological level doesn't guarantee that the person will automatically manifest abundance. It is also important for a person to clear these archetypes on an energetic level so that they can finally experience abundance in their lives. I clear these negative energies and more for my clients.

I see no conflict in having both money and living a deeply spiritual life. In fact, for me, each leads to the other. Being spiritual allows me to manifest and create money and abundance. Having abundance and money affords the ability to help others, which deepens my own connection to all, compassion, and my ultimately my spirituality. Through having abundance, I can work fewer hours than many and devote more time into my connection with Source, which increases my ability to manifest.

I primarily manifest, but I also work. I work to provide the Universe natural doors to allow manifestations to enter into my life and to impact the lives of others. Largely, I work for needs and manifest my wants. It may not be a system for everyone, but it satisfies me. And even as I write this, I am seeing the number 500, which implies Source agrees.

I totally agree as it gives you the freedom to live your souls purpose with much more ease as you don't have to focus on having your basic needs met. That alone frees up a lot of energy to work with. The key is to learn how to manifest what you need, which often isn't directly to do with money.

Ditto, Lorna. In fact, I rarely seek to manifest money. If you set you goal on manifesting a thing, either the money or the materials to create it just show up. But sometimes it's prudent to manifest the intangible, too: help, advice, knowledge, healing, support... what have you.

This morning I read all over again a short email I received as a response from a man I dearly admire who lives in Spain and who is an economist. He helped me conclude my thesis. Getting to know him was such a turning point in my life because he helped me reconnect to my career in this area, and to feel truly inspired in lots of ways, after having a tough spiritual awakening and losing that interest in devoting my career to an area in economics and bring something positive. Each time I read an email from him, I feel joy and hope.

Sometimes people influence us in either positive or negative ways to build our beliefs. This is always the reason why I feel a bit of nauseam towards so much of the conspiracy materials. Sadly for many of them life looks absolutely black. I wish them peace. I acknowledge there are awful things in this world, but that does not have to define who we are, how we manifest in life our resources or to sink us in a hole of hopelessness, judgement and despair. There are a lot of people who bring goodness and not always are they spiritual, but they have ethics in what they do and a positive mindset and vibration. :)

The idea that gave me so much inner peace about the whole "conspiracy rabbit hole" is that this physical experience we're having is just a temporary one--and that all these perceived negative characters and events are just catalysts to help us learn who we really are (immortal, Divinely Conscious Beings). When one can start to view these adventures we're having from this much larger "cosmic" perspective, it's all just about experience and exploration.

While I realize that doesn't make the frustrations or pain much easier to bear, it has really helped me find comfort. I've also started viewing it a bit like a challenge. As I gain greater understanding of my own existence and purpose, I'm starting to try and "navigate" myself more toward the experiences I'd rather have--call it manifestation, if you will. The interesting thing about it is that it definitely seems to be working, slowly but surely! :)

I think that if we focus on what it is we desire then manifesting it becomes easier, but if we associate it with money, a whole collective of fears come into play that blocks our joy, hence our ability to create. Money is such a trigger word as only a few seem to have it in abundance e.g the media driven celebrity hype when most people know inwardly that they will never be 'celebrities' for whatever that's worth.

I think these things are allowed to 'toughen' the soul. Challenges as one walks through the dark/light path forces us to choose in each moment, to either sink into despair or be inspired to reach for something better for our well being.

Very true, and I find it totally normal and reasonable to rant about lots of things, including the "baddies" of the play. I guess that sometimes there is a bit of overindulgence. Not sure how the mass consciousness is currently assimilating the catalysts of conspiracy information, but only one year ago when I was still using Facebook it was very dramatic to open the homepage and see for example in group suggestions zillions of groups like "Illuminati resistance, throwing the dark ones, conspiracy theory, NWO....etc." then people on the list going through conspiracy stuff almost all day long and posting zillions of negative things and discussing over and over and over and over...omg...I thought, what a spiral of suffering, individual pain has turned to throwing rocks everywhere all day long to those guys. It was a good reason to leave that network LOL.

Yes...definitely been there and done that! That's exactly what it took for me to shake my head and realize we're capable of something far better...and that kind of future wasn't what I wished to experience.

Sometimes it takes a literal shock to the system before some start waking up. I think we're getting there! :-D

Absolutely! I have a "friend" (more of a FB acquaintance, really) who posts this stuff all day long.

My page is so different from this person's. Mine is filled with humor and inspiration, and theirs largely conspiracy theories. But every once in a while, they share one of the inspiring memes from my page, and make comments about such, so I know it's slowly having an impact on them... making them think. It's a tightrope, you know? Because you can't influence and be a light to people if you block them from your life.

I guess that it is an interesting stage, Stargazer it sets me thinking, that at a level it is much more than just exposing ambiguously a "group" of individuals. It goes beyond concentration of power to absorb and destroy but most definitely to lift a cloud of dust in the human collective and beyond that and bring forth through such "groups" the knowledge of all the things that over eons went apparently wrong. It is crazy because what has been exposed so far is the collective pain of what went "wrong" in areas like:

-Money of course
-Religion
-Culture
-Technology
-Races
-Food
-Governance
-Entertainment
-Sexuality
-Networking
-Space exploration
...EVERYTHING

Then, even the past outside of Earth is exposed like how in conspiracy people talk about how within races things went "wrong" with:

-Greys
-Other insectoid beings
-Angelics
-Pleiadians
-Demonics
-Goat people
-Reptilians
-Serpent people
-Feline people
-----ETC.

Everything went wrong with those races in conspiracy.

LOL omg...

Don Hicks as for good examples, yes my original intention with Facebook was perhaps something too positively rigid, talk about extremes haha. Conspiracy was not the only reason in the end, because I find it actually in some cases easier to communicate through email with friends, independently if they add conspiracy to their virtual spaces. But it does help to balance things when we do treat our spaces as our homes somehow, as something perhaps a little more sacred to feed ourselves with loving energies. I guess a dose of conspiracy is not unhealthy but the overindulgence was sometimes too much, as conspiracy itself.

Exactly! I have two separate FB pages just for this reason. One is my author page where I try to attract as many followers and friends as possible and encourage different point of views and so forth. It provides a space where I can attempt to be a light and inspire and touch lives and sometimes expose myself to contrast with the intent of learning and seeing different point-of-views.

Secondly, I have my personal page, and that I treat as my home and "sacred space". I limit this space to only family (some of them skeptically... lol), esteemed colleagues, real life friends, and a few people I feel are exceptional, inspiring, or otherwise worthy of sharing my time and presence with. I also understand that, due to FB privacy settings, whenever I "friend" someone to my personal page, I am giving them access not only to my own personal information, but also to my friends' information, since many of them are set as "friends-of-friends" privacy settings. So I do not take adding someone lightly. I am selective. I'll never understand the people who arbitrarily have 500-5000 "friends" to their personal page. It would be like opening the front door of your house to anyone who wanted in, and then crying foul when they raid your fridge. I guess everyone has their own path. Mine might be a little different. ;)

I like the way you said this, Lorna.

Sometimes it helps to change one's mindset about money to remove the blockages. For example, I used to think that money was something I was responsible for earning, and after I had worked hard to earn it, then received it, it became "mine" and I was responsible for making sure I held onto it (fear based idea, I know). I had the Ego-based mentality that having more money added to who and what I was, and therefore I gave it great power and value.

Then, one day, I did something very simple. I threw out all my preconceived and man-made ideas and notions about "what money is", and just sat quietly, holding a handful of dollar bills in my palm, and allowed the money to "speak to me" and tell me "what it was".

In that instant I understood that money is not something that "comes to you", but rather "passes through you". It's a small difference in words but a huge difference in mindset. And the instant you can throw out any fears about money, and adopt the philosophy: "it's only money" and "there's always plenty more where that came from", and begin thinking of it as a continuous river or stream (rather than a pond), it flows through your life easily.

That is it precisely. It passes through us and we must allow that flow to come and go. I've come to the conclusion that ALL things/energy comes from Source so that we are really all one body and so sometimes it's necessary for the 'hand' to give to the 'foot'. In other words I find it beneficial to give some where it is needed as it allows more to flow to me when needed. Giving to others spontaneously allows more to come our way. The key for me is to stay in gratitude and appreciate all that comes to me, whether it's money or simple energy. It's all part and parcel of our universal lifeforce.

Sometimes it helps to change one's mindset about money to remove the blockages.
Growing up my mother always said 'money doesn't grow on trees', and as I got older it became easier for me to break that mindset when I realised that it did grow on trees as paper is made from trees. lol So therein began my mindset change.

The other thing that I have noticed as a regression therapist is that some people have taken vows of poverty in other lifetimes that affect their present income. Those vows can be broken because the subconscious doesn't know when one life has ended and another begun. If anyone is feeling the pinch of poverty I would recommend a past life exploration to determine if this has occurred and to then break the vow. You don't have to go to the expense of seeing a practitioner, as there are lots of taped recordings that can be used. This Orin and Daben one was a favorite of mine during the 90's. It's now available as a cheap mp3 download. Or this self hypnosis past life regression script works very well too.

Thanks. It's a good script. It's best to make a recording and leave enough pauses in there for things to occur. Otherwise if you have a friend or a partner they can read it to you and always leave enough pauses to allow something to happen. Don't rush the process.

If you print out the script then it's good to get it laminated so that there is no ruffling of paper. Lamination is quite cheap and can be double sided. That way the script will last forever. Good luck and have some wonderful explorations. Just set your intention by asking for the answer to whatever the questions are that you have.

Lorna Wilson, thanks for the tips. My parents grew up in the depression, so you can imagine their attitudes to money - much like it does not grow on trees.

Sometimes Linda they just confirm some subconscious beliefs that we have or they are in soul agreement to enforce a particular viewpoint to ensure that we grow through the challenges that we set ourselves. Coming from that generation post the depression many of us had that theme to work through.
One thing I learned was to use tools and take care of myself. I am astonished at how many people cannot do basic repairs.

LOL My friend Todd just posted this in my facebook feed.

Todd Acamesis

"You shouldn't charge for spiritual teachings..."
WHO SAYS THIS BULL SHIT??!!
This is poverty consciousness masquerading as spiritual truth. No genuine spiritual teaching promotes poverty consciousness. Another persons time and experience is NOT your birth right! Being in spiritual service does not mean the Universe expects you to work for free. For most spiritual teachers, money is not the bottom line, love is. However, making love the bottom line doesn't mean you give everything away or that you don't charge for your services. As Marianne Williamson would say, "the principle of fair exchange, gives love to both the giver and receiver."

Here's a video of him. He teaches OBE's and a lot of other consciousness exploration related things.
