For me this is one of my recent favorites. It is Dendritic Opal aka Merlinite.

Here is a little information on it too.

"The shamanic vibes of it allow its carrier to unfold the nature’s as well as universe energies for his use. It likewise alleges that the liveliness of this gem jewel would help its carrier to communicate with the fundamental self and the globe. "

I think I'd have to go with danburite at the moment, though it's also been hard recently to get enough selenite into my life, lol!
Tough choice<3

I've been thinking about this all day - looking around at my collections all over the house. I have to go with soapstone from here. I know it is not a crystal, per se, but I feel as though they are my friends. I recall that you found this particular type is related to soapstone in England - maybe that has something to do with it.

While I have a lot of crystals back home in NZ, including a crystal healing kit, my favorite is the common amethyst. Here is one of mine which I found in Peru back in 2011:

Kristy, I changed your images in the OP to thumbnails and I think they are easier on the eye. People can always click on them to make them larger.

That's really beautiful! It looks like water--love it!
And that photo was not edited either. You really have to see it in person. I got some nice sized pieces to make pendants with and bigger than I thought. I am definitely buying more from this vendor because even with the shipping cost they are nicely priced for wholesale and the owner is super sweet.

Does anyone else have a crystal at home which is their favorite?
Unfortunately, my first favorite left me some time ago. I do have a new favorite though...Anaeika and LoloRen sent me a beautiful honeycomb calcite as a surprise!

I regularly wear a small blue-green, columnar apatite on a neck chain. I intuitively feel this is good for me (perhaps I need phosphorous balance, it is also good to balance bioenergetics). It could be a Blue Brazilian or a Blue-Green Madagascar apatite. I bought it from a gem-store. My photo skills are deplorable, but this stone really has a deep blue-green fluorescence.

I have always loved these two pieces, the Amethyst is the first crystal to come to me. But I must admit to being strongly drawn to my new crystal cluster.

Yes that is very similar to mine Laron. I would like one of those, I think they are called, Amethyst cathedrals, but they are quite expensive. Never mind we have some nice pieces between us. Here is a photo of all I have so far.

I love rocks of all kinds as I am a nut from nature but anyway... I am intrigued by the Shoushan stone but I haven't even touched one yet.
It is the stone the Chinese use to make THE most beautiful carvings ever. Another name for Shoushan is Snakeskin Jasper7062a6f608a240d495f2378172be737c.jpgquan lin.jpg 22300511_5.jpgshoushan 2.jpg 311893885942_1.jpgshoushan 3.jpg
