It’s usually kind of grounding when the moon transits Taurus, but now there is a rough patch when it begins due to a conjunction with Uranus in the early degrees, which may give some of us a bit of a wake up call, just in case we were relaxing a bit too much this weekend.

And to top that off there is also the square with Mars and Mercury, so how could there not be a few sharp words spoken today, and with Mars retrograde its bound to be the same old same old, only this time we get to use new ideas and strategies to deal with what’s been left hanging.

This should be behind us for the time being at least by the time the Sun in Cancer trines Neptune in Pisces tomorrow, so this is when more soothing and loving energies take over, making magic that comes directly from higher realms to entertain and heal us through whatever means possible for each individual.

And of course Pisces and Cancerians will love this- Leos too but this one is universal for everyone.

And the icing on that cake will be Mercury from Leo square to Jupiter in Scorpio, to add some depth and an urge to call on our wild side to help us have a bit of fun without restraint, or at least express ourselves in ways that are noticed and hopefully enjoyed by others.
(Geminis, Virgos, Leos, Sagis and Scorps will get the most from this one)

This is all very timely as there is a lot of excitement in the air as we prepare to be eclipsed in 4 days time, and its not just Cancerians or Capricorns who will feel it as this is for the public, the people in general as well.

All those blocks that stop us finding the security we crave or loving in healthy ways, all the dilemmas of our “shoulds” and “coulds” in areas of career ambitions versus home life, and much more will have their first little nudge in the right direction to begin a new era and healing process for us all.

Our inner child could feel slightly challenged with this one, so keep that mature adult self within range to call on when needed in this week ahead.

About Janne’s Astrology: Your birth chart is a map of the heavens when you were born as viewed from our home planet Earth. Culture and location can influence the differences in two people born at the same time on this planet. We use 10 planetary bodies including the sun and the moon to interpret a birth chart, also including Uranus, Neptune and Pluto — relative new comers to astrology and there are still traditional astrologers who will not use them.

The planets have unique energies that affect us in similar ways that the moon does with tides and cycles here on earth, including tectonic plate movement. At the time of birth the heavens imprint our very natures and set the patterns for our future with “promised” events unfolding as the heavenly bodies continue to move around the zodiac in their transits, some moving faster than others.  Different astrologers use different methods, some taking into account the precession of the equinoxes, some using ancient techniques and some using more modern.  I use a mix of both.

Blood moon to bring longest lunar eclipse of the 21st century, with Mars to appear unusually bright

Red Alert! Red alert!

I’m looking forward to this eclipse Janne, partly because you have done such a good job of taking our collective hands and leading us to the edge of it.

I won’t see it in Scotland, but will feel it!
