This forum focuses on discussions related to information concerning and resulting from the Webbot tool operated by Clif High. While it is a complex topic, in short Clif has developed a process he uses on a monthly batch basis to extract and filter information from across the Internet and then run a series of predictive linguist algorithms to identify terms with high emotional value that are predictive of future events. Whew! And from that analysis he produces a monthly Asymmetric Linguistic Trends Analysis Intelligence Report, typically referred to as a Webbot report or an ALTA report, as well as updating his website and posting related YouTube videos with emerging information. There are variations in confidence and timing associated with Long Term data, Short Term data, and Immediacy data. This takes a bit of diving into to get used to but over time a person gets the hang of it.
The underlying theory is that humans are aware of, to varying degrees and even if unconscious of it, likely future events. The language around those events leaks into our communication in the words we use. We reach for specific words to use in our communications related to these potential future events even when we are not aware we are doing so. The methodology Clif employs looks for these shifts in linguistics and their associated emotional values to to help build his reports. For those who have detailed interest in "how" the process works Clif describes it in detail as part of each of his monthly reports.
But many of us are more interested in the "what" that is uncovered rather than the "how" the process works. Clif makes his monthly Webbot/ALTA reports available via his website for a small fee (currently $15 USD ea, or by Bitcoin at market). He also post short videos (~ 20 min ea) to his YouTube channel a couple of times a month and his website (HalfPastHuman) has near daily short postings. He is also currently posting on Twitter a few times a day with info of interest. He's quite a colorful guy and most people enjoy his information and manner of presentation.
