The quote from Eisenhower at the end of the post is an eloquent summary of the real life effects of military actions.

The article about jury trials in the information age is interesting. My first thought is about all the incorrect info and opinions vs. facts that are out there. On the other hand, sometimes important info is withheld, either on purpose or through error or incompetence. So, what will happen if juries don't go along with the status quo and ask their own questions?
