Squat Health Challenge

Hey All,

In an effort to move more & be fit, I challenge you to do 50 squats a day with me for 40 days. You owe it to yourself to have strong, sexy legs! :) Let’s keep each other accountable and post in daily after we have completed our daily 50 squats.

If you are new to squats, you can break up the 50 throughout the day. If 50 is too easy, then by all means, challenge yourself and squat more! Let me know how many you do as this will help me to push myself more. We can do this together!

If you skip a day, then you have to make it up. Yes, that means 100!

I did my 50 tonight.

I've got busted knees, so squats are out for me. However, I will commit to a daily basic yoga routine for 40 days. This is the push I need. Thanks.

That means thirty eight days to go.

Oh.

Well, I better throw back the chair, (not my hair as it's not long anymore) and squat down towards my toe!

I pulled a muscle between my shoulder blades so will need to catch up when I am not in pain.

Oh, I hope you manage to feel better soon.

When I was young and training I realized that the difference between the better "bodybuilders" and the novice ones was that the former would take their time to warm up properly.

I wish you good luck and safe participation in this physically challenging adventure.

I'm terrible. I missed two days! Lets see if I can do better.

Day 38 complete, 50 done!

I also threw in 150 sit ups and 60 dumbbell flyes — (3 sets of each.

Oh boy! The flu has settled into my home and I think it is best for me to start over when healthy again. NOT giving up!

Good job to everyone participating in this challenge. Your body is your temple.

Gaaah. I don't know that I can be held accountable. Haha. I keep forgetting by the end of the day.
You can do it, Angela! Maybe start your day with it or schedule it in your phone. I like to do them in the shower bc the width of the bathtub is perfect and it keeps my feet parallel.

Day 4/40 complete!

50 squats done, along with 90 heel touch sit-ups (3x30), 60 dumbbell floor presses (3x20), 600 skips (3x200), 60 push-ups (3x20), 1 hour run & walk, 30 pull-ups (3x10), and 120 crunches (3x40).

I just did my 50 and feeling the burn while on the mends.

I decided to catch up instead of start over, so I need to make up 200 squats.

I raise this guy a few 'gratitude lifts' and look what he comes up with:eek:
Somebody's getting in shape!

Me, I was happy that I made up my 50 squats from Saturday today and thought some more gratitude thoughts while I squatted. 1-grateful I can do this; 2- grateful dad is doing his stuff while I do mine; 3-grateful this is still easy; 99-grateful I am still working through the burn...
