just the reminder that it is up to us humans, and only to us, to save us all.
Enjoyed this one - you are right, it is uplifting. Although I did not understand the words, it was easy to listen to (many Germans settled in central Texas).

Another one. Maybe I need to keep humming this melody throughout the day in order to remember living in the Now. :)

Kind of rediscovered this band now. They have some more good songs I did not know before. The lyrics are epic for the most part. Actually most East German bands were at the time when they still had to endure the evil GDR regime. (I was lucky and was born in the West though.)

Here's the one Eckhard Tolle could have written. ;) I keep wondering why today in modern music there is not more people who write lyrics like this?

"Yes! I am yet alive! And I love every moment! I love its magic!"

Still I wonder what the old cat knowing the many paths is about.

Also love the Phil Collins style sounding tom-tom drums on this one.

Translation again:

Jede Stunde – Every Hour

Manche Leute lieben nur die Nacht
Weil sie verdeckt was dunkel lacht
Ich liebe jede Stunde
Some people only love the night
Because it hides what is laughing in the dark
I love every hour

Andere beten nur zum Sonnenschein
Und glauben dann im Glück zu sein
Doch ich mag jede Stunde
Some people only pray to the sunshine
And then believe to be in happiness
But I love every hour

Jeder Tag zeigt mir sein Gesicht.
Es ist mir gleich, wie es zu mir spricht.
Ich liebe jede Stunde.
Every day shows its face to me
I don‘t care how it speaks to me
I love every hour

Wenn ich deine Nähe spür',
dann fällt die Zeit wie Laub von mir.
Ich liebe diese Stunde.
When I feel you next to me
Time falls away from me like leaves from a tree
I love this very hour

Wenn ich frier' und wenn ich naß bin,
genieß' ich das Im-Regen-Stehn.
Ich liebe jede Stunde.
When I am cold and when I am wet
I enjoy standing in the rain
I love every hour

Der Spaß lässt mich den Schmerz vergessen
Es macht mich an, dass ich ihn spür
Ich liebe die Sekunde
The joy makes me forget the pain
It turns me on to feel it
I love the second

Jeder Tag zeigt mir sein Gesicht.
Es ist mir gleich, wie es zu mir spricht.
Ich liebe jede Stunde.
Every day shows its face to me
I don‘t care how it speaks to me
I love every hour

Wenn ich deine Nähe spür',
dann fällt die Zeit wie Laub von mir.
Ich liebe diese Stunde.
When I feel you next to me
Time falls away from me like leaves from a tree
I love this very hour

Die Zeit, sie wartet nicht,
Sie gräbt sich ein in mein Gesicht
Mit jeder neuen Stunde.
Time is not waiting for you
It burrows into my face
With each new hour

Ich lieb' die alte Katze,
die still und heimlich lacht,
denn sie kennt alle Wege.
I love the old cat
Who is laughing on the quiet
Because she knows all paths

Auch die Nacht zeigt mir ihr Gesicht.
Es ist mir gleich wie es zu mir spricht.
Ich liebe jede Stunde.
Also the night shows its face to me
I don‘t care how it speaks to me
I love every hour

Wenn ich deine Nähe spür',
dann fällt die Zeit wie Laub von mir.
Ich liebe diese Stunde.
When I feel you next to me
Time falls away from me like leaves from a tree
I love this very hour

Uhh! Ich lebe doch!
Mir gefällt jeder Augenblick.
Ich liebe seinen Zauber.
Ooh! I am alive after all!
And time is not waiting for me
I love every hour

Uhh! Ich lebe doch!
Und die Zeit wartet nicht auf mich.
Ich liebe jede Stunde.
Yeah! I am still alive!
And time is not waiting for me
I love every hour

Uhh! Ich lebe doch!
Mir gefällt jeder Augenblick.
Ich liebe seinen Zauber.
Yes! I am yet alive!
And I love every moment
I love its magic

<3:)<3

Here's a live version from 2010 that is way more like rock or rock'n'roll than the studio version. The son of the singer who passed away in 2004 has taken over the lead singer role now.

Sinera, thanks so much for posting these and expanding my musical horizons in ways I love... also for the translations!
I'd love to have a conversation with the Cat<3
Maybe it's these folks here;) https://schrodingersothercat.blogspot.ca/
Next to dolphins I believe that cats are the most mysterious and intelligent animals on this planet. I once received an information download about cats from the Akashic Records but so far did not really unpack it. This is a copy from a forum thread on Robert Bruce's website, it's from June 2012 describing how I got it (original link is on #19):

On a side note: I love the humour that is sometimes displayed by the larger consciousness system or my higher self or who/whatever 'teaches' us. This is now not intended to be a running joke (at least not from "me"), this really happened a little while (2-3 days maybe) after my jokes about ALF and cats, I just remembered it now in the context of this thread again.

I remember me and Korpo in another thread here talking about so-called background downloads. This is when you are in dream or hypnagogic / hypnopomp state and get some info downloaded, but not consciously 'reading' it, it's also like a "zip-file", or maybe you can take a short look at parts of it, or the contents / an index to show what it is about.

It is somehow a mixture of written data, pics or videos, a live commentary even ('lecture'). Normally one remembers hardly anything of it or only some core impressions, sometimes nothing at all, just the impression of having 'been lectured' about sth.

Now, this is what happened, and it really got me cracking up when I realised it later: I received a 'download' about ... CATS. What they are, also spiritually, how they came (or evolved, or both) here etc. I don't remember any details, just getting an (akashic?) download on cats.

Life can be funny. Life in larger reality probably even funnier.

Swedish Progressive band "Pain Of Salvation" did something extraordinary in 2004, in artistic as well as in metaphysical respects. Not many bands do this. I don't know of any other that did it like "THIS" exactly.

These lyrics together with the complex concept album work and its very multifaceted music (folk, jazz, prog metal, pagan metal, ethnic music, rock, even a bit of country, orchestral music, spoken word / audio drama, many percussive parts, etc.) blows my mind - even today.

The opening lyrics of this 'post-metal musical' the post here. I recommend if you find the time to invest the entire hour in this masterpiece. There is a live version of it in full below.

--------------------------------------------
1. Animae Partus

I am
I am
I am

I was not
then I came to be
I cannot remember NOT being
But I may have traveled far
very far
to get here

Maybe I was formed in this silent darkness
From this silent darkness
BY this silent darkness

To become is just like falling asleep
You never know exactly when it happens
The transition
The magic
And you think, if you could only recall that exact moment
Of crossing the line
Then you would understand everything
You would see it all

Perhaps I was always
Forever here...
And I just forgot
I imagine Eternity would have that effect
Would cause a certain amount of drifting
Like omnipresence would demand omniabsence

Somehow I seem to have this predestined hunger for knowledge
A talent for seeing patterns and finding correlations
But I lack context

Who I am?
In the back of my awareness I find words
I will call myself...
GOD
And I will spend the rest of forever
Trying to figure out who I am

2. Deus Nova
[Fabricatio]

Trying to understand the system of Life
Trying to understand myself
I created the world to be an image of myself, of my mind

All of these thoughts, all of these doubts and hopes
Inside
I took out to form a new breed
A new way to be
And now I am many, so many

So much larger than ever I were
Yet, at the same time
So much smaller and more vulnerable

They all carry shards of the whole
Together they become me
I see them interact, develop
I see them take different sides
As were they different minds
Believers of different ways, and different gods

I think they will teach me something

The amazing Kate Bush did so many 'awake' lyrics. Some are even quite 'disturbing'.

Why is there in modern pop music hardly anyone like her nowadays? All corrupted, just sex & drugs, dumbing-down superficiality, and that illuminati mind control stuff going on with Gaga & Co.? Not that I listen to charts music nowadays anyway, but that is what I get from it from browsing alternative websites and bloggers that talk about modern charts pop music 'culture'. (Of course, I'm sure there are exceptions).

So here's actually Kate's version of "Stranger Things". This even was a single back in the mid-80ies that went into the charts. You cannot get any more direct, can you?

"We were working secretly
For the military.
Our experiment in sound,
Was nearly ready to begin.
We only know in theory
What we are doing:
Music made for pleasure,
Music made to thrill.
It was music we were making here until

They told us
All they wanted
Was a sound that could kill someone
From a distance.
So we go ahead,
And the meters are over in the red.
It's a mistake in the making."

Another deep state control topic about an inventor (W. Reich):

"You could see them coming
You looked too small
In their big black car
To be a threat to the men in power."

A more recent one (2011) about AI taking over control of human minds. Highly up-to-date topic, isn't it?

"I turn to my computer like a friend
I need deeper understanding
Give me deeper understanding"

ThIs goes back to my little rant earlier. Todays musicians are not allowed to express themselves like we did in the 60's and 70's. Those that do are snuffed out.

I always love that sort of sound it strikes a chord somehow

However much I wander musically. I always come back to this stuff. Touches the soul like nothing else does for me.

Native. Origin(al). Tribal. Natural. Universal. True. Source. Divine. Indigenous.

Whatever you call it.

This leads me mostly to music like: Pagan. Celtic. Native American or African too. Oriental too. Folk in general.

But I more and more notice I like the 'raw' stuff now. Not the diluted one - that westernized pop stuff where they put some 'world music' (as they call it) elements in it.

I do like the metal and rock variants of it, yes, there are plenty. However, there's nothing better than the 'true' ancient and more authentic and nature-bound versions of it for me now. The rawer the better.

E.g. I've always been searching for the real native american tribal dance songs. Was so happy when I found it.

Same with the Celtic or Pagan Folk stuff.

It's the real 'soul' music for me.

As an example, another jewel I just found yesterday:

Wow, @Sinera:-D
Please keep these coming!
I wish all music were like these:D
Seriously ... if this kind of stuff was today's typical "pop charts top-10"-music ... then we would suddenly know that we had made that hoped-for shift to the New Earth.
O.o:D

Faun also does the 'raw' stuff, btw, so here's an 'unplugged' one from a while ago:

This is one of my favorite bands. The video artfully dances with the song. It’s full of video from the Grand Canyon and the desert—my home.

Verse 1]
Lost as I may be
In the fog of my own noise and triviality
Grand Holy Mother, grant me clarity
I am standing on the edge of forever
Forever

[Chorus]
One among infinity
Witnessing the majesty
Calm in this humility
Witnessing the majesty
Hope as far as one can see
Witnessing the majesty [x3]
Standing on the edge of forever

[Verse 2]
Blessed be
This reawakening
Grand Holy Mother end my deathly slumber to Stand fearless on the edge of forever
Forever

[Chorus]

[Outro] [x4]
Hope as far
As one can see
As one can see

The desert is your home? Wow. Or the Grand Canyon?

Maynard James Keenan is one of my favourite artists and singers. I've been a huge Tool fan for years, since 2001 or even earlier.

Puscifer is one of his other projects. A while ago I saw a concert of them on YT (I think it was a Lollapaluza festival). It was really cool. It was more 'relaxed' than Tool's performances who always have a kind of occult / mystic seriousness to them. During that concert he also was drinking his own wine which he grows on his winery and invited the Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder who joined him (during the concert!) to have a drink with him on stage. Cool. Wonder how his wine tastes.

APC, Tool, & Puscifer—yep! Some of my favorites. Been to some concerts, but enjoyed Puscifer the most, as the crowd was way friendlier. Plus, some of these songs speak to my soul.

Well, I am from Arizona originally and grew up in the desert, so it’s my home.

I also knew Maynard when I worked in the wine business with my ex. He’s very reclusive in person. The first time I met him, we were at Peach Springs for dinner, drinking wine and eating zin burgers. Guess who was grilling them?! Yep, you guessed it! Eric, who owned the vineyard, decided to introduce Maynard to everyone and he got embarrasssed & took off!
If you ever travel to AZ, you may see him riding around Jerome in his off-roading buggie or hiding about in his winery. He values his privacy and would rather sell his creation and never himself. I have a lot of respect for this man—a creative genius.

Sinera , His wines tend to be more complex, heavier, & richer than others. It is a good idea to let his breathe before tasting.
( Caduceus / Merkin) Love that sense of humour!

Wow, cool that you met him 'somehow'. That's what I also heard / read about him ... and it's why I think I could like him as a person too.

I feel he is a bit like me. I am also a semi-recluse and introvert, more or less. I like this type especially when the artist comes in too. E.g. Steven Wilson is another one of this kind (posted a vid here too).

I'm also using my time trying to be a creative genius, doesn't matter too much that I'm of course not as successful as Maynard, follow your bliss is all that counts .. and who knows what the future brings ... I'm still working on it. ;)

Thanks PG!

You should see the view here where I am... that song goes perfectly with it.... let's see what I can do about that: tide is out (mouth of river) and it's cloudy, but it is morning! (This is my last day here, been traveling and helping my father move house this last week)
