Start again!
That would involve counting, keeping track and being organized:fp:rolleyes::eek:
My current motto is more along the lines of "Keep it simple".
Although I liked Alison Coe's one of "I'm good" too.

6/40 (didn’t log yesterday but I did them
Today I did squats holding my boys (not at same time).
Funny how some days I’m strong and some days I lose that strength.

No idea of the count.
Loving the squats and the effect they had. They saved my butt (literally) on a slippery hike last week:eek:

Week 2 day 3 done.
I also did about an hour of yoga last night.

Man, waking up early, and I really hate running. But after we start up the first run sequence it isn't terrible. And by the end I feel a lot more sprite and ready to move through the day.
I guess that's what exercise does though, right? Haha

I am keeping up w my squats. Some days I get them all in, some days I get some in but at least I’m not skipping days. I meet my body where it is.

That's pretty much what I am continuing to do too.

About an hour of yoga yesterday. It was pretty tough so I think today I'm going to relax and be up and early tomorrow morning for a another run.

I started walking about a month ago. My best friend joined a gym and she can take a guest for free. So, sometimes she takes me with her. She tries to take me on her days off twice a week. It is really nice because it is already getting hot here, and I dislike the heat. My goal is to walk 4-5 days a week. At home I only push myself to walk 1 mile doing laps around my block. When I go to the gym we do the treadmill and my goal there is to do 2 miles. I only walked once last week. I caught a bug and then my energy dropped do to feeling the solar flares and some other stuff. I am trying to bounce back into the swing of things and raise my energy. I walked Sunday but not yesterday. I am going to walk today.

I already see my legs getting toner. It helps keep me motivated. I am glad I found this thread. I don't know if I am ready to do squats, but I will try to do some today. I need to lose 100 pounds so squats are hard on my knees and ankles. Diet is where I really struggle.

Hi Bear_Raven ! So glad you found this. Keep going. My best advice is to walk every day even if you don’t meet your desired goal. It helps to keep up the momentum. Every bit helps.

Keeping up the squats over here.
Other activities come and go, but most days I get to that one activity; others I have to make up.
That, too, is all good:)

I've been doing the running with a friend. And other days I try to get to yoga. But if not, at least I'm still running.

I did one more lap today than I usually do for a total of 6 laps around my block. I wore my Sketcher shape ups which I haven't worn since I first bought them. They hurt my knees when I first got them like 3 years ago. My knees did not hurt at all but now I am noticing some soreness in my quads (the good kind of sore!). Feeling good!

I love the good sore feeling. It’s all warm & tingly. Not to mention your brain is bathed in dopamine squirts—a wonderful feeling of accomplishment. This is why exercise can become addiction—it feels good!

I used to have a pair of those shoes and they eventually fell apart. So glad yours still are functional and your knees feel good.

I am still doing them too. It is a routine for me to do them in the shower as much as shampoo and conditioner & shaving. It is just what I do now!

Wow, shower squats!
Love that<3

I do different things with them and am amazed at how I now bring my whole body into it; something I never used to do.
