I am curious to see who else uses essential oils & what your experiences have been. Has anyone tried to stimulate the pineal gland w frankincense?

I use them around the house, but not on my body.
I am interested in how other people use the oils.

I use essential oils extensively. Daily. My very close friend is an aromatherapist. I have different regimens for varying issues. I have spent time at my friend's home and inhaled over 300 oils. Not in one day.

She named my current regimen, "Completion of Lost Things." This is for multiple agendas.

I have Frankincense. I have not used it to stimulate the pineal gland.

For the record, essential oils have helped me many times. It seems miraculous. I find them to be a pleasure except for Spikenard, which I have a hard time using because of its strange fragrance.

I am about to use lavender for my headache.

Ah, yes! They are good for aromatherapy, cleaning, & wearing as they have therapuetic uses. I usually diffuse mine. Also will put peppermint on my temples to relieve headaches. They have so many uses.

I have used peppermint as well, but I worked on conditioning my brain to stop headaches when I apply lavender. Peppermint cools my scalp and also works.

Lavender is one of my favorites. I use it for teething, breaking fevers, ant bites, & relaxation. I will have to try it on headaches--thank you.
Don't use it while in labor or it could prolong it, unless halting labor is desired due to early labor. I learned that the hard way, before learning about therapuetic effects!

:tsgn However, I am an elder and thankfully have no worries with labor. Other worries, absolutely. Currently, I am in creative labor.

Lavender Spike is my daily favorite along with Orange. There are times when I just use my intuition to choose. Citrus and florals are always welcome to my system.

I have recently started using them, after having a recurring cold for almost 3 months. Was recommended to rub a thrives blend on and all around my toes. It worked in one day, so I did used it again, my cold disappeared. Then I used frankensence and lavender on my neck for headache and weaknesses caused by using to much amoxicillin, it is working also!
I am trying to find something that works for failing kidneys, anyone know anything?
Thanks!

According to Barry Kapp who wrote the book, Wisdom of the Earth: Medicinal Grade Plant & Tree Essences for Phyto-Aromatherapy Essential Essences (oils) Book & Reference Guide, and distributor of Wisdom of the Earth essences, Geranium, Sandalwood, Sweet Fennel and Greenland Moss aid kidney issues.

Seeing a trained aromatherapist is probably a good idea along with doctors. With most medical issues, I try to gather solutions and healing modalities from all who have something to offer. Sometimes one helps.

Good luck and speedy healing wishes.

See www.wisdomoftheearth.com. Their products are pure and not inexpensive. I am not associated with this company, but my BFF is an aromatherapist, mostly using their products.

Hello,
Juniper Berry, lemongrass, thyme, rosemary, & coriander all are recommended for overall health of kidneys per The Essential Life, pg 48. These all can be applied topically or ingested, as long as your oil is certified pure therapuetic grade. Otherwise there is a risk of getting an oil that has been diluted, less potent, or w additives.

I use them every single day. I buy unscented lotion and add essential oils to it. I use them to make my home smell good. I use tea tree oil in a spray bottle mixed with water to help prevent mosquito's and ticks from getting on me and my dogs. I've used them in the past to make all natural soap. I use them as much as I can!

I use Lavender every night on my scalp to relax, use tree tea to make homemade cleaner, peppermint with water in to prevent mice and eucalyptus to inhale to fight cold and congestion.
I used to use peppermint against ants in Thailand. It disrupts their ability to communicate through smell and they will move away from it.

I have been using essential oils since 1999 in all aspects of my life. They have become a way of life with my family. We use them to aid in physical, emotional, and spiritual health. I love blending oils to create a synergy that amplifies each oil. I love love love them.

OK Mandy, so I guess you like the aromatherapy oils then. I do too actually. Have you tried organic hyssop for clearing chesty coughs? A few drops in a hot drink and voila.

Welcome to the Roundtable Mandy.

I have not tried hyssop, but I will seek it out and try it. I love trying new oils! I've fallen in love with Melissa for any chest congestion that comes up.

I have Melissa tea bags......Melissa is also wonderful for people who are passing on as it holds the etheric energy of being eternal. Lemon Balm as it is also called, is a member of the mint family and you can't kill it. There is a wonderful book about the etheric nature of oils and their properties. Hang on, let me see if I can find it on the net.....it is not the one I had but it is similar:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Secrets-Beyond-Aromatherapy-Essential-Healing-ebook/dp/B0077XDI0M

Oh I could devote myself to the oils and just study them all day.

I grow fresh mint and make mint tincture which I try to keep on hand because it takes a few month to make good strong tincture. Then I buy unscented lotion and mix some mint tincture, tea tree oil and bergamot in the lotion. This smells really good but it also keeps mosquitos away. When I lived in North Arkansas ticks were a real problem and it kept those off too.

That sounds great Vickie....how do you make tincture then?

Thank you! I just downloaded it. I'm excited to read it. I love learning more about the etheric properties of oils. I've used them intuitively but haven't had much for reading about the etheric properties.
I have an affinity for essential oils and could spend (and have done) all day learning using and playing with oils. I'm very excited that you feel so strongly about oils too!

I have some new testimonials.

A friend of mine used melalueca & lavender on his ingrown hair/cyst. It went away the next day. He had the cyst for over a week prior to applying the oil.

Another friend of mine:
"Testimonial for you: J had strep for over a week very badly. The girls and I use Onguard toothpaste, and none of us got sick none of us got strep"
Onguard is a blend of thieves, but has wild orange instead of lemon. It's sweeter & less medicinal smelling.

Also personal tmi testimonial:
I tried ylang ylang to get in the mood & it works! I noticed the pleasant floral smell helped keep me focused on just us, which intensified sensations.

If anyone has any questions about using oils to address health concerns, I'd love to help. I have two huge textbooks that read like an encyclopedia to find answers. I geek out on this stuff!
