I want to see if anyone out there is mining any cryptocurrencies at the moment. It seems that for investment purposes, cryptocurrency is the way to go because of how popular they are becoming. I posted this topic on this board because the webbot had a major role in alerting people about bitcoin, and cryptocurrencies in general, far in advance before they started reaching the prices they are.

It would be helpful for everyone to hear about your experience with cryptocurrencies, such as if you are mining any at the moment and which ones you think are worth investing in. Clif High via the webbot put out a recent report dedicated to this topic, so that is a helpful resource for those interested in knowing how they are going to go in the future.

Most areas of what the webbot reports on are very accurate, but some areas have been not so accurate such as precious metals and earth quakes, but with the cryptos it seems to be a stronger area for successfully predicting their popularity and prices. I don't follow the reports much anymore, but I hear from friends now and again to tell me things.

So like I started with, this is a good thread to talk about this topic, and to begin with, let see if anyone is actively mining any cryptos.

I've been following crypto's a bit, mainly through Clif's reports and following what he tweets about (typically a couple of times a day he'll tweet something). I've also noticed in the past month or so there is an increasing number of articles (zerohedge.com, etc) on BTC and crytpo currencies generally. I believe the run up in BTC price is drawing more attention from media.

To sum Clif's perspective, the world is shifting from where fiat currencies have been dominant to crypto's becoming dominant. We are just at the very beginning of this shift. At it's core it is being driven by growing recognition that fiat currencies are highly manipulated and are not a reliable means of preserving wealth and therefore people are seeking new means outside of fiat currencies and crytpo's (based on block-chain technologies) offer that as they are not easily manipulated like fiat currencies are, as well as precious metals markets. The upside potential for growth in value of crypto's is huge. BUT it is very early and it is not a stable, well established eco-system that is not YET broadly embraced in the world. The controllers of fiat currencies will act to try and gain more control over crypto's so they can maintain their economic control of the masses. This may fail but it will be tried. And it is very much a wild west, anything goes environment in the crypto world and so scams will come and go and fortunes made and lost. I believe you can successfully navigate the crypto world and do well for yourself. But you do need to spend the time to investigate and understand it and the entities you may be dealing with. While there is potential to make a fortune if you are brave and skilled in crypto trading, the risks are significant and many new entities, some of them scams, will be in the market. My personal view is to not trade as it is too much uncertainty and risk for me. I tend to just buy and hold and benefit as the price trend is generally up. Although breathless articles will talk about how much BTC and others have already moved up, or how they have or will crash, in the big scheme of the potential capacity for crypto's to be embraced broadly by humanity we are just beginning and there is incredible headroom for growth.

Will it happen? Not certain. My gut tells me there is lot of growth ahead and having some exposure to cryto's is a good thing. They have many of the attributes of precious metals but are much easier to to handle than physical precious metals (and unless you have physical PM's you've just got a piece of paper that is highly manipulated in it's value). I believe mix of crytpo's and some in-hand PM's is not a bad way to go.

There are plenty of articles and opinions out there to support a particular view on one side or the other of any position. In the end it comes down to each individual deciding if getting engaged with cryto's is right for them or not. As ever, all important decisions in our lives often comes down to our internal discernment of what it the right answer for us. My view is that fiats will fade, kicking and screaming along the way and with much shouting and confusion, and that crypto's in some form will take take on an increasingly bigger piece of our economic lives, albeit with all the growing pains that accompany that growth.

Some may find the attached article of interest:

Quite an interesting interview yesterday by Clif High with Greg Hunter was posted this morning (June 4th). Link below. Goes into the far reaching affects of the ongoing collapse in fiat currencies. An hour a long, some of the bigger picture stuff about what is going on in the world and shift away from old institutions, collapse of us DNC, the exposure of much criminal activity by elites, etc comes near the end.

In the first 20 minutes Clif share his views about:
  • BTC reaching $13,800 USD/BTC by Feb 2018. This is just the beginning of a large move up as the world shifts from a dying fiat model to a crypto based model
  • Gold reaching $4800 USD/oz by Feb 2018
  • Silver reaching $600 USD an oz by Feb 2018. But silver will continue to move up and reach parity in pricing with gold do to some special attributes in silver.
A good exposure for individual discernment in regards to the what Clif believes is a historic shift in humanity and a rise in the empowerment of the individual.

Thanks Bill for your posts, they are very helpful! I'm sure many others out there will benefit. This would be a good topic to have an article on for transients but it's not my area so I'm not the one to write it!

the link below to a white paper lays out the basics.
I've started reading this primer, and some things are more clear to me. It is an interesting method to provide "proof" of transactions.

Thanks for sharing this.

Speak, O wise cryptoids of currency, of Ethereum... I have heard whispers that it's the Next Big Thing. And better, so it's been said by people who speak of such things.

Beyond that, anyone here have direct experience taking payments and donations through cryptos? How well has that been going? I'm playing with the idea of setting up a wallet or ENS or something, but I'm wondering if it's workable for little guys like me. I know huge corporations are working with Ethereum, and so are farmers.

Searching for enlightenment after gleaning what I can from what's online. Direct experience: thumbs up or down? Issues? Worth it?

Maryann, funny you ask. I've spent some hours this morning learning about Etherum and ENS and the like. Short answer is ETH is the 2nd biggest crypto coin behind BTC. Currently much cheaper than BTC. My belief is both will do well. A big difference is ETH is designed for smart contracts....contracts that can be fully executed in ETH, actions occur and then paid all using blockchain. Some say that ETH may have a larger % upside to it than BTC. Hard to know. I've got some a bit of both.

Today Clif released a vid talking about how to set up an Etherum Naming Space and using it for your business (link below). Essentially it is similar to the domain name we may have for a website (like the Nine). You have to "bid" in ETH for the rights to a name. He describes the process and how to avoid attracting undue attention to what you are trying to do so someone doesn't see that and then "snipe" the name from you in the auction (seeing your interest) and then offer to sell it you at what would be a higher price. Once you have an ENS you can use it on your website to accept payment in ETH for services and such. Lots to learn here but worth doing I think. It is my belief that very shortly, especially if fiat currencies collapse as Clif predicts, that many many sites will want to accept payment in crytpo currencies for services offered. The broader capabilities offered by ETH over BTC make it look to be a leading contender for this.

Anyway, give the 20 min vid a watch and see what you think. You can also PM if have specific questions and I'll try to help.

Maybe these cryptocurrencies hold a spiritual symbolic meaning? Lol j/k...but I mean that because they are not backed up by anything physically tangible. It is by far the most virtual thing we have backed up by a certain will.

On a more serious tone, if I had a portfolio of investment resources, perhaps I would invest a small proportion in these kinds of things in contrast with a larger portion of things that were backed up by something physical in nature. The reason is because supply and demand of moneys that are not backed up tends to be more volatile and this thing in particular sounds even more volatile to me than other things and perhaps in some regions even just a temporary thing, like a fashion.

Something that is physically tangible can be more lasting and more stable in the long run.

The more something is less physical and more subject to the supply and demand cycles, the more volatile it is and the less reliable it becomes in the long run, in contrast with investments in objects like metals, houses, art...etc.

But the beauty of Earth is that there are lots of things that meets the needs of everyone in one way or another, physically and/or spiritually. So I see these things as part of the hybrid economic systems flourishing, while the conventional is also kept for the ones who value it and they can coexist with each other in many ways.

There are regions in our world (some very large) were these things cannot exist at all, like in very poor rural or suburban areas, especially in poor countries were people do not even have access to a computer, or elder people who do not use tech. So these places need physical money or even barter to exist. I can say this because in the city where I live many people who come to live permanently or come to visit from rural towns are so poor that they have no access to computers or this kind of knowledge. Many elderly people often need help to handle basic accounts and entire families only can rely on fiat money. This is also the reality for so many places in lots of developing countries or very poor countries in Latin America, Asia, Africa and very likely devastated Middle East.

I don't like the idea of currencies at all. It is the same old idea of capitalism being reborn, and it is something heavily dependent on technology.

What I see as the future is the example of some Scandinavian countries where 60 % of what you earn is redistributed. It is the natural evolution past capitalism, but those examples tend not to be covered by the media attention.

Okay, at slight risk of going off-topic, I have to share a bit o' wisdom from the Pleiadian Renegades, because it's fun to see the reality of their words... from the book Remembrance:

You see a new economy coming, one in which the dominant dollar becomes less a piece of paper than a fact of life that keeps getting less and less relevant. This is the story you might hear, but it is not the truth of your existence unless you want it to be. What seems like limitation now will soon be irrelevant. What do we mean? Let us enlighten you with a story. Ours are much more down to earth than the ones currently circulating on your planet.

A pile of paper sat in a locker in a dark and quiet mansion high on a hill. No one remembered what it was for or how it had been used, though some speculated it was a sort of game token for some long-forgotten game of chance. "Mogul", some said it was called. The rules made little sense, however, and the players had tired of the same people winning time and time again. The piles of paper, yellowed and neglected, were all that remained, the rules of the game long ago having changed so much that the keepers of the rule book decided to rename it "Dream Making". And so it was that what had been was no more and that which came is already dreamed by those who re-write the rules. The only thing that anyone remembered about the old game of Mogul was that Dream Making was much more fun for everyone.

As a story, it is rather short. But keep reading and you'll see how many permutations of reality there are to explore. You don't need a long introduction to have a hand at continuing it. Once you start playing, you'll see. It starts to make sense. You just have to remember that it's a game and it's supposed to be fun, everyone wins, and there is no finish line. It just continues. Generally speaking, Mogul is just the opposite. For most of you, it hasn't been much fun seeing the same team win every turn (almost) and brilliance dimmed as a result, nor have you had any hope of outside help (almost) to avoid a dismal end for yourselves. Naturally, it's a dramatic moment in the game. It's your turn, and you're pausing just a bit longer than usual. You're thinking. The brains are finding a commonality of thought-wave patterns and light is beginning to shine among you. Consciousness is mastering the game, and it's so exciting for those of us of the known people of the stars to watch what unfolds in your arena. We are your cheerleaders. Let's go, people, let's go! We are whispering words of encouragement to you constantly. If you pay attention, you'll see. Cave-ins are inevitable for those who have moved away from their heart centers, so walk carefully. Naturally, it is necessary to stay in your heart center to navigate from one game to another; that is the key...

Remembrance comes for those of you eager to play a new kind of game, for the game of Dream Making is an ancient one. It has been played over eons and across dimensions. You are just discovering your various opportunities to play. Brightly-lit Love beckons you. It is not a game of dominance or chance but of discovery and recognition, from an address of bright joy rather than a place of dark fear. It is a game never before played that is the only one your universe knows. You are achieving mastery of a beautifully complex creation and how it plays out is up to you.

I understand well the discomfort of people struggling with money, in one way or another. Money is already being eradicated in some areas of the world or cryptocurrencies being used in places like Venezuela.

However, since last year, what many races and aspects of this world, including Source have shared with me, is that in this planet money will not be eradicated completely because such incidence would fulfill the will of only certain groups but not for the whole, as I mentioned in my above comment.

To elaborate on this point further, we can think not only on poor people who rely on currencies for their daily activities and who are only starting to learn the lessons about money as a medium of exchange, when their imbalanced lives cannot reflect a harmonious balance of physical resources without money.

Another aspect of this world is to think about the potential for all kinds of corporations to bring balance to their activities, yet money still being very important to them. Enterprises that have to move large amounts of resources need money as medium of exchange, especially when time is involved. Assume that as individuals you intend to use only barter, yet there are cases when you decide that you need to make exchanges on a later time, which would in some cases demand for one or both parties to sign a simple document. The document in itself would be the medium of exchange that warranties that the exchange will be made at some point in the future and that in itself is a form of money. In the case of companies, the time factor is even more complex so for them mediums of exchange are very important.

Yet another reason why money in this planet will not be eradicated but instead will be elevated to its highest most loving expression in many places in this world is because some of us have been building a career in areas like economics, finance, etc. and I personally was blessed in my life to have very positive experiences with a generous aspect of my national government who granted me with monthly payments to continue with my career and the opportunity to meet economists that are not spiritual but who are very honest and very loving and who inspired me to have faith in people like researchers in these areas, people who work in corporations, even in larger institutions like World Bank and UN who do honest work with their hearts independently of the ones above them or how the ones who receive financial resources use them. I was blessed to meet at least briefly online through a course people who work in these organizations in honest ways and they shared many important insights that are not taken into account or understood by conspiracy theorists who blame entire organizations for the failures of certain groups in power.

All these people blessed my path with new insights as to how monetary systems can be brought to balance and how thousands of people who work in these areas like myself (hopefully in small or bigger ways) can work in positive ways to bring these structures to a higher and honest expression.

In spirituality, unfortunately, the belief that money is evil is deep rooted in not only a soul record of painful experiences but also naturally in what we witness as injustice on a global scale.

Only this morning, I was very upset precisely about a personal issue related to finances and career, and crazily enough, aspects in spirit form of local and national authorities came to talk to me so that I could express where the wounds were showing up in my life and a great healing took place. The issue was not related to them but to common citizens who are currently blocking my path in these areas. It was very liberating.

In places like Greece, barter economy in harmonious flows is already happening, and I would not doubt in other places this will be the norm, but that does not mean that everywhere in this world money has to be eradicated because of the past and current mistakes of both authorities, corporate world and people themselves who make a bad use of resources and strip away others without the right to do so.

Finally, in this planet, not only the paradigm of races that represent the spiritual and some particular light expressions are coming forth in many ways, which includes several angelic, bear, dog, Pleiadian and elemental people who do not necessarily used economic systems but also there are positive reptilian, lion and other feline beings, angelics and devils in charge of teaching the positive side of material resources including governance in general, laws and financial management and as such must be respected in their will and right to bring forth the best of what they created in their planets eons ago.

Honestly, I have no idea what the problem really is. It is the money, or just the attitude of the people. Some of them are so materialistic that if tomorrow they see a reptilian ship coming down, the first thing they would wander is whether they can make money out of it. And some of those people don't really have a lot of money, this is the absurd thing.

I don't know, I think the shift is just the beginning and there will be a lot of work to be done after that and I really feel pity for those who will stay here.

I don't think "money" is truly the problem, per se. It's the attitudes around it--and our inherited perceptions of scarcity and competition for it. I can see (and intend to see) a world where money is appreciated in a mature, wise way--as a means of energy exchange that is perhaps even seen as sacred. It could be much like the energy exchange we experience when we are having a good meal, enjoying a good night's rest, or sharing our love with another self.

I feel this may easily start happening once humanity realizes how helpful money can be as a convenient means of sharing with or even blessing others.

After all, it's much easier to carry around and exchange a coin or a banknote than it is to carry around items for barter such as a cow, a bunch of chickens, or a microwave oven!

;)

Where staying here is concerned, I agree that there will be a lot of work to be done after "The Shift". But I'm planning to stay here...and I don't see it as being anything at all to be pitied. In fact, I feel that those who will be here to witness the changes will be incredibly blessed.

I'm excited at the prospect of seeing people working together in a cooperative, positive, and loving way--one that hasn't been witnessed for thousands upon thousands of years. Perhaps we'll be assisted by some incredible new technology or even by the remembrance of some long-forgotten, almost "magical" skills. Who knows, we may even be able to find opportunities to work with our own Star Family (ETs) in setting up some entirely new systems and ways of living that honor everyone--including our Mother Earth.

KarlaSM , as you can see, sometimes I can be very arrogant, even when expressing what is actually a form of love. And it is not even the ego, I feel it goes all the way soulwise. According to my most recent insights, I will be around too.

Stargazer , this is exactly how I foresee the future. I just want to see the Earth like what Billy Meier describes as the life on Erra. But their evolution is supposed to be 2000 years or something in the future. And impatience is another soul feature of mine.

I'm with ya, Slayer. As I mentioned in another thread though, I'm convinced this doesn't have to be a long, drawn-out process. I truly feel we have the potential to create almost instant change. Exactly how we might accomplish this escapes me, but I suspect that firm intention, belief (or knowing) in ourselves, and focused energy through thought and action are key. Perhaps all it really takes beyond that is a "critical mass" or "100th Monkey" type of affect, where our collective consciousness quite suddenly shifts into a sort of spiritual overdrive.

And I do somehow feel that shift is i-m-m-i-n-e-n-t...

:)

But in the meantime, I'm quite happy and honored to spend the time in your illuminating company (and that goes for everyone here)! If I do have to wait, I honestly can't think of a better way to pass the time.

:)

The ETs are already here my friends, but not everyone can see them and they need to live in very specific environments that suit their needs. I think that with the next waves a lot of people will be able to see them, just like how many of us do. You just have to gaze in the mirror and see all your cosmic aspects and see them in others. They are very real, in etheric form but already incarnated as human beings.

Lately I see them everywhere, even in the less awakened people, but there is a spark of love in them and each one brings a lesson of love and even conflict.

A few days ago a reptilian man taught me a very beautiful lesson of love that I will never forget. He was a desert reptilian, very serious, tall and with a strange design on his scalp. In his incarnated human form he was a tall tan man, with a reptilian-like haircut and the design on his scalp really caught my attention. I sensed that his scales are yellowish green. Some of the reptilian men that live in my area are very hard-working yet poor. I live in a poor state but there are also some very wealthy groups.

While the other guys were painting some walls in my house, the reptilian man decided to work on a small patio we have with a tree and some plants that I had neglected with my constant depressive states.

What this reptilian man did was that with such care and dedication he cleaned the spaces where there were plants that I was not taking care of as I had to and some other weeds. I told him to be careful because of the lethal blond scorpions and black widows and he said that there was no problem. He cleaned the dirt, took out some white stones covered in soil that originally had been placed to decorate the spaces and washed them all. Then he placed back in the clean areas the pots with the remaining plants, watered them, placed the stones with such delicacy and elegant touch and said to my mom and to me that plants need to be given love, to not allow that to happen again and to sing to them so that they can grow healthy.

I was obviously speechless. My mom was speechless. It is very uncommon to find people who do these kinds of house maintenance jobs with this kind of level of consciousness, even less these kinds of men who carry within their etheric template reptilian aspects.

There are other ET beings in my neighborhood. One is for example a devil man who worked in a very difficult place and he retired. He is like s sort of veteran and his countenance shows such degree of brokenness and tiredness from his difficult experiences. In human form his face is tan-red and even his ears are a bit pointy, his eyebrows are very curved upwards and he has a beard lol. His eyes are a bit yellowish.

So in his human form this devil being managed to fit into a human template that resembles his previous lifetime in some ancient star system at the time the devils lived in very hot places near volcanoes. This man has a black dog, a very noble one. When he moved to the neighborhood, he created a little precarious home in a terrain he bought. This man is truly very poor. He was very dedicated to preserving a certain peace by doing some positive tasks but then a bad man would constantly bring the devil man down. So now an ogre female and my mom who does happen to carry a reptilian aspect decided to partially adopt the dog and feed him, because the devil man became kind of neglectful towards the dog because he seems to be to broken to take full care of him, and likely has very little money to feed him.

So you see...they are now incarnated in human form but with some activations of the pineal gland we can see their true forms from their previous incarnations in physical in other planets.

Lol, dear sis, you are bringing more examples of good people not having a lot of power.

Most of the people here are supposed to have had off-world incarnations and this is good because maybe it speaks of some soul maturity.

One of the construction sites of our company is on the property of a plant where a lot of people work. I see them as they get on and off the corporate bus. They all seem poor and troubled. And the boss and his daughter don't look fundamentally different either.

I think that it will be much better if more power was given to good guys (service-to-others) like that reptilian man. On the contrary, we see service-to-self guys going to the top because the system supports that.

If the work that is truly important for the shift was rewarded in money, the people on the forum would be billionaires. If that was the case, the shift would happen by the end of the year.

Oh, I also wanted to comment of what Maryann shared from one of the books I treasure the most. As somebody who likes games (including board ones), I can tell that I share the opinion of others that Monopoly is a very bad game. I have never played Mogul, but I suppose it is suspiciously similar.

Yes you are right my bro, maybe a responsible power in which people can be given the proper tools to use more resources, like the saying of teaching people to fish instead of just giving them fish.

Not always giving people power and money gives good results, I know cases of politicians who were very poor and all of a sudden were given that power and they went straight the road to darkness but the reason is because they grew up in very negative environments that shattered their hearts at an early age, instead of being nurtured with love.

An open heart, balanced and knowing within how to give love will manifest for others. :)
