Venus moved into Virgo yesterday for 3 weeks or so, which is a highly beneficial energy for Virgos, who can bask in more love and attention that they have had for a while, also find that their security levels reach a new high.
The attention of loved ones, more luck with money, and other special gifts come with Venus’s special visit to their sign.
For Taureans and Librans , they can be more practical and methodical in how they love, and in where they put their attention. This is a good time for them and the rest of us to be of special service to those who need it, volunteer our time maybe, to do some good works beyond the call of duty, and generally help others out, as well as pay more attention to our own health and wellbeing needs.
But today’s big news is Jupiter at station, and when he gets moving again in Scorpio in a direct motion, there will be a lot coming up from the depths to set us all off on a new course where we are more motivated and enthusiastic about goals and life in general, and anything we are passionate about.
We can set our eye on a target and go for it, as opportunities and support of others will definitely increase over the coming weeks, some rather unexpected, as this move of Jupiter is connecting to the Cancerian eclipse in two days, forming a wide trine to the same, so it has to be beneficial for all the water signs.
There’s a lot of release or relief with this for Scorpios, Cancerians, Pisces too.
And Sagis of course will love it as its all go for them, a lot coming out from the depths of their being to ponder on.
The eclipse itself will be under the influence of Pluto opposing the Sun and moon, so this is powerful for endings and new beginnings- something of a death and rebirth aspect, which is super huge for Cancerians and Capricorn type people and also Leos, Scorpios too, although I think Capricorns and Cancerians definitely get the strongest influence of this, or those with those ascending signs or MC/IC on the axis, or moons in either sign.
Some of us are already feeling the effects as there are a lot of family matters happening and much people stuff, also red tape for many.
As there’s a very powerful Perigee moon with this eclipse we do need to take care this week in all areas, especially if travelling. This means that feelings will be exaggerated as if it’s a full moon as well as new moon.
The Health axis is teeth – joints, bones, skin, our skeletal system, stomachs, bladders, reproductive systems or any weak areas we have in the body if we are Cancerian or Capricorn as this could be a crisis point for the same…
Due to the strong Sun/Pluto effect I can add hearts, circulatory system, upper back, elimination, as Pluto is about release and the more nether regions of the body.
Yesterday we began the Balsamic moon phase which is an unfavorable time for beginning something new, but favorable for closing something, putting it behind us, and for endings in general. A time for personal reflection, tying up loose ends.
The eclipse energy plus Perigee moon will intensify in one day’s time, when the moon moves into Cancer preparing to eclipse the following day, 3 pm on Fri 13th in NZ, 1 pm exact in Aust.
So that means late night the previous day in some areas of the world and early hours of the 13th in others.
We do have a Pallas in Cancer opposing Pholus in Capricorn aspect today, which could mean that some dramas of the last few days turn out to bring unexpected blessings or the more insignificant events take on a much larger implication.
It all adds to the changing family dynamic in the lives of Cancerians and Capricorns that is already under way, including how to blend their personal security zones with the way they present to the public, or go after other goals.
And also how to nurture and love in healthier ways. It’s the same dynamic for the rest of us.
And remember to expect the unexpected, even though this is only a partial solar eclipse.
It’s still a new moon and still a new beginning for Cancerians in particular, and the rest of us too, wherever it falls in our birth charts.
Some things WILL be taken out of our hands…
About Janne’s Astrology: Your birth chart is a map of the heavens when you were born as viewed from our home planet Earth. Culture and location can influence the differences in two people born at the same time on this planet. We use 10 planetary bodies including the sun and the moon to interpret a birth chart, also including Uranus, Neptune and Pluto — relative new comers to astrology and there are still traditional astrologers who will not use them.
The planets have unique energies that affect us in similar ways that the moon does with tides and cycles here on earth, including tectonic plate movement. At the time of birth the heavens imprint our very natures and set the patterns for our future with “promised” events unfolding as the heavenly bodies continue to move around the zodiac in their transits, some moving faster than others. Different astrologers use different methods, some taking into account the precession of the equinoxes, some using ancient techniques and some using more modern. I use a mix of both.
