Anti-Inflammatory Foods: The Complete Guide to Treating Inflammation Through Diet
“Inflammation is our immune systems way of alerting our body to something wrong. While ‘Acute’ Inflammation – as a result of a cut, scrape and physical injury – is a normal part of the healing process, chronic inflammation however, is a sign of a more serious underlying problem with potentially serious consequences. While there is much discussion over whether chronic inflammation is a symptom or a cause in many of the health conditions it has been linked to – it should be taken as a warning sign that the immune response is not working as it should.”

Earth must strengthen its defenses against mutant space bacteria – Russian scientists
“Terrestrial bacteria that were sent to space and returned changed now pose a threat to the existence of life on Earth, and measures must be taken planetside to contain them, Russian scientists said. A Russian experiment called ‘Biorisk’ has revealed that various microorganisms from Earth were able to survive in the harsh conditions of space on the surface of the International Space Station (ISS). It was carried out starting in January 2005 at the Russian segment of the ISS and saw 68 different organisms, including bacteria, insects, vertebrate animal and higher plants, used as test subjects.”

In a paper published last month in the journal Hydrology: Current Research, Paul LaViolette describes how immense waves of glacial meltwater could have been produced on the surface of the North American and European ice sheets during periods of excessive climatic warmth when the ice sheet surface was melting at an accelerated rate.”
Disney is turning to robots to pull off dangerous aerial feats
“More than 3 million years ago, our adult human ancestors were walking on two feet and didn’t have the option of a fashionable baby sling to carry their kids around in. “The laser blasters in “Star Wars” are no longer a thing of science fiction. Chinese researchers have developed an actual laser gun that can ignite a target on fire from a half mile (800 meters) away, the South China Morning Post reported. Although the gun is classified as a nonlethal weapon, its laser shots can cause “‘instant carbonization’ of human skin and tissues,” according to the South China Morning Post, which means skin would burn and be reduced to carbon like the outside of a charred marshmallow. It can also fire through windows, burn through gas tanks and ignite anything that’s flammable”
Is Our Universe a Vast Virtual Reality? Suma Gowda with Tom Campbell
“Thomas Campbell is a physicist and author of the My Big T.O.E. (Theory of Everything) trilogy. For the past forty years, Tom has been focused on scientifically exploring the properties, boundaries, and abilities of consciousness. Tom’s research into consciousness began with Robert Monroe (The Monroe Institute). His research later on as both physicist and consciousness explorer eventually led him to a better understanding of how reality works and consequently to deriving a big theory of everything. The “My” in My Big TOE refers to the fact that it is his model and infers that with your own experience you can arrive at your own big TOE. ”
The surprising science of alpha males | Frans de Waal

(Below video) “What happens when technology knows more about us than we do? Poppy Crum studies how we express emotions — and she suggests the end of the poker face is near, as new tech makes it easy to see the signals that give away how we’re feeling. In a talk and demo, she shows how “empathetic technology” can read physical signals like body temperature and the chemical composition of our breath to inform on our emotional state. For better or for worse. “If we recognize the power of becoming technological empaths, we get this opportunity where technology can help us bridge the emotional and cognitive divide,” Crum says.”

Quote or Poem
“The chakras represent elemental human qualities. Rather than suppress our instinctual desire and passion, the shaman hones them into finely tuned instruments. I believe that fear is compassion in seed form. Heal the fear, and compassion bursts forth. The instinctual self must not become the enemy. Anger, greed, and lust are all hidden resources that can be transformed into love, clarity, wisdom, and courage. Everything in nature is holy, and every chakra holds the seeds of our illumination and of who we are becoming.”
