Unraveled Edition #8 | A Collection From The World Wide Web

From December 2010, this is a fascinating  academic based study supporting the potential for new spirituality to lead democracy, by understanding and accepting the interrelation of all things. It’s written by Basarab Nicolescu from the International Center for Transdisciplinary Research and Studies (CIRET) in France. (35 page PDF)

“Remote viewer Dick Allgire published remote viewing work in November 2016 that accurately described news events in chilling detail nearly a month before they happened.
This video documents proof of precognition.”

Health & Nature

“A new study published in the peer-reviewed journal Space Weather reports the discovery of radiation “clouds” at aviation altitudes. When airplanes fly through these clouds, dose rates of cosmic radiation normally absorbed by air travelers can double or more. “We have flown radiation sensors onboard 264 research flights at altitudes as high as 17.3 km (56,700 ft) from 2013 to 2017,” says Kent Tobiska, lead author of the paper and PI of the NASA-supported program Automated Radiation Measurements for Aerospace Safety (ARMAS). “On at least six occasions, our sensors have recorded surges in ionizing radiation that we interpret as analogous to localized clouds.””

Plants Have an “Ear” for Music
“While he was a soldier stationed in a Korean demilitarized zone in the 1960s, the late Dan Carlson, Sr. was horrified when he saw a mother intentionally cripple her child to receive food subsidies. Moved by that experience, he enrolled after returning home at the University of Minnesota under his GI Bill, and buried his head deep in herbology and plant pharmacology textbooks. He was determined to find a method to increase plant growth and help reduce, or even eliminate, world hunger. Years later, Carlson believed he found part of his answer. He maintained that “green music”—sounds akin to, or recorded from, those found in nature, like birds singing or crickets stridulating—possesses frequencies that boost plant growth and yield rates. He claimed that when exposed to synthesized birdsong, a plant’s stomata—the mouth-like pores on the underside of leaves that absorb water and nutrients and expel oxygen—widen. Before he died in 2012, he listed growing a Purple Passion (Gynura aurantiaca)—a houseplant that usually grows up to a foot—1,300 feet high to the sound of green music as one of his lifetime achievements. It earned him a Guinness World Record.”

An Esoteric Lesson in Grounding
“Besides physical exercise, there are several other techniques that are commonly recommended for grounding. Walking outside barefoot on raw earth is a staple practice. The idea here is that the physical body to earth-body contact creates a circuit of energy that stabilizes you.”

Why psychedelics like magic mushrooms kill the ego and fundamentally transform the brain
“Walcoff had volunteered to participate in a study of how the psychedelic drug psilocybin, the main psychoactive ingredient in magic mushrooms, affects the brain in cancer patients with anxiety and depression. The promising results of that five-year study, published in December, have prompted some researchers to liken the treatment to a “surgical intervention.””

What happens when you have a disease doctors can’t diagnose | Jennifer Brea, TED Talk
“Five years ago, TED Fellow Jen Brea became progressively ill with myalgic encephalomyelitis, commonly known as chronic fatigue syndrome, a debilitating illness that severely impairs normal activities and on bad days makes even the rustling of bed sheets unbearable. In this poignant talk, Brea describes the obstacles she’s encountered in seeking treatment for her condition, whose root causes and physical effects we don’t fully understand, as well as her mission to document through film the lives of patients that medicine struggles to treat.” (17 minute video)

Wearable Technology Now Detects First Signs of a Cold

“Like spicy food? If so, you might live longer, say researchers at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, who found that consumption of hot red chili peppers is associated with a 13 percent reduction in total mortality — primarily in deaths due to heart disease or stroke — in a large prospective study.”
I probably eat too much spicy food!

Meditation Gaining Popularity in Prisons to Change the Lives of Inmates
“The Manhattan County District Attorney’s Office in New York City will be the latest correctional institution to introduce meditation as a means of stress-reduction for their inmates, as well as for others who’ve been the victims of violence suffering PTSD.”

You may have seen the actor Jason Momoa in such shows and movies as Game of Thrones (Khal Drogo), Stargate Atlantis (Ronon Dex), and more recently Conan The Barbarian. This short eight minute video titled, Canvas of My Life, is a touching tribute to his life up until now, and shows everyone who the real person is behind the characters he plays. YT description: “Long before Hollywood got ahold of Jason Momoa and turned him into a savage warlord and our latest superhero, he was just a kid who grew up the son of an artist from a family of builders and hunters from a small town in Iowa. Raised by a strong single mother, he craved everything his mom opened his eyes to, from art to music to rock climbing and skateboarding. All of this left a deep sense of adventure in his blood.”

“About 13 million pages of declassified documents from the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) have been released online. The records include UFO sightings and psychic experiments from the Stargate programme, which has long been of interest to conspiracy theorists.”
The CIA’s Secret History Is Now Online
“After restricting access to just four computers in a room in Washington, DC, the CIA is finally putting 12 million declassified pages on the web for all to see. View the documents here.”

The Voynich Manuscript: Decode the World’s Most Mysterious Book
“The Voynich Manuscript has been confusing clever people since the 15th century, give or take a few centuries when it disappeared into the back of closet somewhere in Italy. This remarkable illustrated document is written in an unknown language that has defeated all efforts to decipher it by the world’s greatest cryptographers. Now it’s your turn. The manuscript is housed in the Beinecke Library at Yale and Yale University Press has published a facsimile of this intriguing document complete with background essays that shed light on what is known about this baffling object.”

Metaphysics & The Shift In Consciousness

For those that missed it, one of the QHHT sessions I conducted last year, which was with Linda, one of the administrators on our community Forum the Roundtable, had a focus on Cloud Cities with a lot of detail of what they are. You can find that QHHT transcribed session here.
“When something extraordinary and unexplainable is seen up above, we have to ask if it is a natural phenomenon, a hoax, or a government program. For the second time in the last two years a floating holographic city has been seen and recorded by numerous people in mainland China, and many are asking these very questions.”

While I have no interest in politics, whatever country I happen to be in, I continue to find it fascinating that Trump got in as the president of the USA. Like I have mentioned previously, I see this as a very positive step in terms of change in relation to the shift in consciousness. This article by Sam Leith on the Guardian goes to show that while Trump’s grammar and spelling is terrible, and that he does contradict himself on a regular basis, none of this actually does him any harm and in fact it helps his position.

““The New Little Ice Age Has Started.” This is the unambiguous title of a new study from one of the world’s most prestigious scientific institutions, the Russian Academy of Science’s Pulkovo Observatory in St. Petersburg. “The average temperature around the globe will fall by about 1.5 C when we enter the deep cooling phase of the Little Ice Age, expected in the year 2060,” the study states. “The cooling phase will last for about 45-65 years, for four to six 11-year cycles of the Sun, after which on the Earth, at the beginning of the 22nd century, will begin the new, next quasi-bicentennial cycle of warming.””

“In August 2008, WEX head explorer David Hatcher Childress suggested that I should “…write a book about skinwalkers…” telling, me “crypto-creatures are big right now.” I remember responding that it would be virtually impossible because very little has been written on the subject of skinwalkers and that it would be a challenge to attempt to write an in-depth magazine article on the subject—forget about a full-length book. But he did get me thinking. Why not use the skinwalker as a boilerplate to examine his ancient uncles—the tricksters? So, what follows is an expanded examination of these legendary adepts adapted from my book Stalking the Tricksters. ”

5 Short Terence McKenna Videos That Will Blow Your Mind

An interesting look at consciousness bars based on a psychic reading by Lynn.
“I get an image of an ancient time (at least a few hundred years ago). There is a huge line of people waiting outside of a oriental woman’s hut. It looks as though people travel from all over to get help and be healed by this woman. She looks to talk with her client for a few moments before she begins her session (to make a spiritual connection), and then begins to work on their Consciousness Bars.”

“Eastern Spain is experiencing an extremely rare winter weather for this region since Wednesday, January 18, 2017, when parts of the region saw their first snow in 90 years. Through Friday, January 20, at least 3 000 people became stranded on roads due to heavy snow. Snow is not so rare in central Spain and higher ground, but on the east coast, it happened just a few times in the past 100 years.”

Sadhguru discusses education and intelligence during this conversation with Sir Ken Robinson. Today’s education system, Sadhguru notes, is based purely in the intellect, which functions through accumulated information. He asserts that, instead of this accumulation, what is needed is an innovative intelligence – innovation not just as a step up from the status quo, but as an unlocking of a totally new possibility.” (7 minute video)

Here is the final in a series of 7 videos covering Tom Campbell’s workshop in LA. This one is just about 2 hours in length.

Science & Technology

Researcher investigates the science behind love
“A study she published in August in conjunction with Erasmus University Rotterdam’s Jan Van Strien has caught the eye of several news and media publications including The Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post Canada, Cosmopolitan UK and more. Put very briefly, the study investigates the concept of love regulation by looking at how cognition affects love. In other words, it asks: Can a person change how in love they are just by thinking? Can thinking positive thoughts about one’s beloved (he’s so smart, kind and good) make positive feelings of love increase? And likewise: Can thinking negative thoughts (she’s always messy, we have no future together) make love feelings decrease?”

Humans Really Are Made of Stardust, and a New Study Proves It
“For decades, science popularizers have said humans are made of stardust, and now, a new survey of 150,000 stars shows just how true the old cliché is: Humans and their galaxy have about 97 percent of the same kind of atoms, and the elements of life appear to be more prevalent toward the galaxy’s center, the research found.”

“A French Commandant’s belief that he could photograph the inner workings of the mind has important lessons for modern science.”

Human bodies frozen in desert facility waiting for science to wake them up
“Bedford is the oldest “de-animated”, or cryogenically frozen human being on earth.Since his original placement in the dewar, hundreds of people have opted to join him in the hope of a second life in the future.”

The Creation of Health: The Emotional, Psychological, and Spiritual Responses That Promote Health and Healing, by Caroline Myss.
“A collaboration between a traditionally trained physician and a medical intuitive, The Creation of Health illuminates the deep connection between emotional dysfunction and physical illness. It describes the role that emotional disturbances play in the most common diseases and ailments from the common cold to arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. After providing an introduction to intuitive medicine and its history, method of diagnosis, and relationship to traditional medicine, Myss and Shealy detail the deeper emotional and psychic reasons why illness develops in the body. Dr. Shealy offers a traditional account of a particular disease or ailment, while Dr. Myss sheds light on the deeper causes through her corresponding energy analysis.”
